I haven't attempted a max in a long time. I hit 405x10 with a wider grip than I normally used about 6 weeks ago

They are. Thank you. I have been training them weekly lately. They're getting too big again. Going to drop delts completely from my next training block most likely

It's actually kind of funny how copeHC actually legit hasn't posted since which is funny because the whole reason he got messed with is because he took it so seriously and then now he's taking the whole thing super seriously which makes it even more weird lol
I did this to show what someone that can do 225x8 looks like and how ridiculous his claim was

Oh, it was a joke. No idea your height, but I'd guess you are 230ish. I bet fat bitches sit there staring at you push out 15+ reps of 405 on bench and start sweatin bruh... like "no man can throw me around like that boy could"

I could push press 225 when I was doing oly lifts like 2 years ago for a few reps, but thats more technique/timing than anything.

Mirin delts just popping out. I can do 2 25lb db shoulder press. Does that count? Not for 8 though.

Srs, that’s very impressive. How long have you been lifting? How long did it take to get to a level of strength that you’re satisfied with?

I'm 5'11.75. If I stopped lifting and started stretching more, I could probably hit 6'!

He could have at least said something believable like a heavier 1 rep or maybe 225x3 but this has certainly made things fun.

Why the fuk would he lie tho?

Death is impossible for us to fathom: it is so immense, so frightening, that we will do almost anything to avoid thinking about it. Society is organized to make death invisible, to keep it several steps removed. That distance may seem necessary for our comfort, but it comes with a terrible price: the illusion of limitless time, and a consequent lack of seriousness about daily life. We are running away from the one reality that faces us all.

Being on the misc is motivating me to start OHP, I only ever did military and dumbbell press for the heavy stuff.

Thank you

I started lifting in high school for football. I'll never be satisfied with my level of strength or size. I don't think I would have the motivation I do if I was

I normally do seated stuff for OHP. DBs are my favorite. We have a plate loaded machine that I like a lot too

If you want your delts to explode, do all your laterals and stuff. Press after that. Humbling to say the least

Heh, I finished my OHP @ 210x5 3 sets today.
You beat me with me flying colors, and you said you don't even focus on this lift? :O

I started OHP over a year and just recently doubled the volume per week. Seems to have helped scoot me along. Hope i can get where you're at and beyond.

Good job.

That's solid man. Seriously

I just don't enjoy doing it. That's the only reason. The best way to get better at something is to do it more often so you're on the right track

i think the reasoning is with a narrow grip it's easy to use your triceps and chest more rather than pure shoulders. you would do less weight with a wider grip, but would hit the shoulders more.
that's what i've been told, but i don't even lift.
