you guys are weird. my work jeans get washed after 1 day or use. my running around at home jeans 2 days. although I may consider 3, but they're still going through with the rest in detergent.

You're not meant to wash jeans, thought this was common knowledge. Only time you should is if you spill something on them, just air them out and spot clean with a tooth brush if there are any stains. This is what the CEO of Levi's says.

4 hour cap. After 4 hours jeans are dirty and need to be cleaned. On lunch break at work I take my clean, crisp jeans out of my backpack and change out of the dirty 4 hour old jeans for remainder of day. When traffic is bad on the way home and I go over the 4 hour mark of wearing the second pair I have gym shorts in the bag as well so I can change in traffic.

Yeah that chit don't fly here in South Texas 100 degree weather. Minimum every every other time you wear your jeans you have to wash because of the sweat.

I only hang-dry my shirts. Gym clothes/underwear i will use the dryer.

Not using the dryer easily doubles the lifespan of your shirts.

regular day usage maybe 4-5 times.

if i wear them during a night out to a bar/club i'll wash it after because i usually get either drinks, sweat, or that good gushy gushy juice all over them while dancing

I'll bite since no one else will. Washing jeans too regularly will ruin the color. Better quality jeans will take longer to fade, but regular washing will speed up that process regardless of quality. Wash your arse regularly and make sure you don't sweat excessively in them.

Dam I thought I was just crazy barely ever washing mine as long as they don't get dirty or smell. I hate the feel of jeans when they come out of the washing machine.

Only own 3 pairs of jeans and only wash em like once every 6 months or so. 1 pair is just yard work jeans and I probably haven't washed those in 2-3 years. Jeans are honestly the most uncomfortable form of pants idk how people wear them more than once a month.
hard to hate on a fellow wings fan but....

Yeah you're in Dallas so you know the weather doesn't let you pull that chit. You're one dedicated mofo to be carrying extra jeans and shorts around. I'm a family man so I don't have time for that nonsense. My high end designer jeans don't get worn often therefore they don't get washed much. Maybe once every 3 months in cold delicate wash and hang dry. My work jeans get beat on so they get washed often.

Jeans should last for ages before they need a wash unless you have like chronic sack sweat or something. Obviously other pieces of clothing have different rules, t-shirts are always 1 wear then wash etc.

That's a leading question. I still shower and shampoo my hair on the regular.

This is why you have multiple pairs to rotate through. I'll send mine to get dry cleaned because or if I do throw them into the machine I let them air dry. Microscopic skin/sweat/hairs? What do you think is in your bed lol? Yeah of course you wash your sheets and comforter (You should be doing this), but they'll be back within one or two nights of rest. Germs and bacteria are everywhere, you can't escape it. When it comes to washing jeans, we'll never agree lol. However I do understand the importance of hygiene.

I'll do about 3-4 days before I just feel gross. Also, I dry clean my going out jeans. Dgaf bout my work jeans.

Obviously this changes if I'm working outside with them.

I wear my panties with jeans.. they don’t even smell but usually just wash them bc... I get paranoid..

Things like workout leggings, no panties so wash every time. If I threw a shirt on to run errands for an hour, 100% not washing it after 1h I’d wear.

People saying you wash jeans after wearing them once, do you sweat excessively or otherwise have body odor?

depends how much physical activity i'm doing in them.

if i'm running around town in texas heat ... like once a week at least .

if it's a bit cold/chill outside, then jeans can last a lot longer, they don't smell until like 2-3 weeks

4 Hours is the max anyone should go. Also having a portable steam machine near the office window to remove unsightly creases from the backpack folding is the only way to go.

Who TF washed their jeans this often???? Freeze them every couple weeks if they start getting odors. Wash quarterly at best, and that's pushing it.

I have a year-old pair that have been washed once. Sometimes I don't sleep at night thinking about why I washed them that one time.

Soak my raw denim jeans in the tub maybe once a year. Never wash them. Srs
My jeans don't smell, and they are still clean.

Wear them a few times per week at least. I don't wear them for work though.
