I remember i passed a Chevy COlorado (chevy's version of the ranger/S10) and pricing wise it was more than a standard F150 w/ no frills. Gas mileage was hardly any different too. i was like lol..who in their right mind would buy that thing. TO this day i haven't seen hardly any on the road.

Can't wait either. It better be a 2 door though, or else it's just a Ford explorer

Can we please have an AWD SVT version with the flat-plane V8 out of the GT350.

Its what some people are after.

Domestic half tons have kept creeping bigger every year, you are lucky to fit them in the garage anymore.

What a odd thing to see ha.
In Aussie land, these are abundant and highly sought after and 'Priced from from $27,390 for the base Ranger XL 2.2 (4x2) all the way to $74,990 for the top of the range Ranger RAPTOR 2.0 (4x4)'.

As much as i liked having a truck, and it is awesome to have one.... I cant justify it overall.

That fuker was getting 19mpg on the highway lmao.... I didnt even realize how bad that was was - until i drove a chevy cruze for a week and thought the fuel gauge was broken on it because it seemingly never ran out of gas.

I'll feel like a ******* going back to car life again, but w/e. Money in the bank, shawday what u drank.

Will be waiting 1-2 years after release and possibly picking one up. I've been eyeing a new car lately and I've been feeling the mid sized pickups.

I was hoping for a 4x4, v6, with Extended Cab. But I don't know too much about car tech specs.

That and Ford couldn't figure out how to make a 4 door truck with a real back seat.

I had an 04 Ranger and loved it, but mine was the extended cab 2 door model and the back was absolutely worthless. I added a manual transfer case twin stick setup out of an 02 FX4 to it, which made it a blast to drive not having to worry about if it was going to go into 4x4.

Ridiculous how trucks are basically priced like luxury SUVs nowadays. Ford brunts much of the blame for that. Used to be that everyone had a truck because they were quality AND affordable. 60K + for a truck? Fuk that.

Lol @ the lowest MSRP being nearly 50% of the average household income. Who is comfortable spending more than like 10% of their yearly income on a car? No wonder people always complain about being broke and nobody has any savings

I was going for a Ranger or Dakota when I bought my first new vehicle, but with the pricing it’s way more practical to just get a full-size. Ended up with a half-ton Ram.

That's fine and dandy.

That's why they make cars.

I personally know people that would love to have a 18-19k reliable work truck.

I got a lifted newer ranger now, not digging this new style just yet. However my ranger has treated me good so far. Hopefully the newest ones are decent and come in manual trans.

Bro same here. I drove nothing but trucks until I was in my mid twenties when I started traveling for work and renting cars quite a bit. Could not believe the difference in mpg. Miss my trucks tho.

Strong fukking this. I was blown away when I was browsing for USED trucks and saw some of the asking prices. This was after living overseas for over a decade and trucks were affordable when I left the states.

The used market is insane now.

Bought my truck a year ago, could trade it in for 2k more than what I paid them for it.

I'm in TX, dealer said that the hurricanes and fires have caused most trucks to jump around 5k.

Ford is always the most expensive truck, not a fan of the new interiors or that transmission. Went Ram and love it.
