You can't make bond black because he is white in the books. Only people into changing him to black, are gay whites or black guys since it benefits them and no one else.

1. It doesn't benefit Asian, arab, or hispanic fans to race bend a white character to a black guy. That bothersome and you'll piss off some former fans, who probably won't watch it.

2. It's weird that white men get really "cheery" that a black man is playing James Bond. It's homosexual, because they fantasize about black men banging white women.

Gosling comes across as too soft and sensitive. It's also why he's in so many chick flicks.

As for Cavil, I think he's too much of a pretty boy. There's no edge to him.
