This ****ery needs to stop
As a group, Wu Tang has 1 classic album (36) and one cool album (Wu Tang Forever)
As solo artists, they have like 5 classics (OB4CL, Supreme Clientele, Liquid Swords, and some I can't think of right now)

Yes, that's it. Out of all the albums they made, only a few are actually worth a listen. The Wu is nowhere top 5 when it comes to hip hop groups.

He had 2 consecutive albums top the previous. Then he started promoting other rappers and got real hard into drugs/sleeping pills/whatever. Its sucks but he peaked early in his career.

I agree with the miscer that said he needs to get back with Dre. One final Dre produced album might be a great way to go out.

Wsan't this recent one produced by Dre? Or maybe it was a combination of Em and Dre.

Em still has that underground vibe to him, one verse of his is more complicated than a whole song of any other "rapper" you hear on the radio today.
Cant be putting him in the same conversation as Drake, Lil pump, Lil Yachty or any other Lil shi**ies, thats for sure.

His technical abilities and rhyme schemes are pretty damn good. His Slim Shady persona was hilarious, the Marshall Mathers stuff is twisted and dark. I think he fell off when he started doing that stupid "Borat" accent thing, but I haven't really listened to his entire discography. Infinite, Slim Shady, MM, and Eminem Show are the four I gave a shot. By the time Eminem Show hit I was already discovering too many metal bands to really keep up.

Great music, and I hate to agree with you, but yeah let’s be real apart from two albums (50% decent tracks on each) and a couple more tracks with Junior MAFIA Biggie is overrated.

Tupac not so much, he lives eternal as one of the GOATS.

Eminem early (hungry) version was goat tho.

Amazing lyrics and decent producing via Dre.

Pity his voice is so high pitched and nasally.

Typical - 'name the best artists in a genre and call them overrated'

Biggie's flow is still GOAT and Tupac's message and Shakespearean prose was ridiculous (then again he did go to a white boy's posh school).

OP just sounds like a butt-hurt (no pun intended) Elton John fan

He gets stick for being white, but is IMO easily in the top 3 from 1995 onwards.
Eazy E never wrote his own lines
Drake doesnt write his own lines
Many others likely dont
Em has written everything he has ever released.

This

He also has like 100 top tier verses with other artists like 50 cent, Dre, Xzibit, TI, D12 the list goes on. All top tier. It's really not even close all anyone can say is he is old now and isn't as good or he has released like 4 bad albums lol. That doesn't mean much when he literally has 2-3x more top tier material than any other rapper

4/10 albums being bad isn't that good of a track record lol

another point of eminem being overrated is his influence on rap. other than inspiring other white rappers, he has almost zero influence on rap.
