i am indian and let me tell you, being indian is actually a great thing. we have beautiful people and we have ugly people. just like any race. I for 1 am a great person, have great friends, and i take care of every one that is in my life and i am glad to do it, and for that i have people that love me around me. also, indian parents are one of the best parents you can have. sometimes they can be really strict, but they will take care of you no matter what, and they will buy you what ever it is that you need. as long as your not a selfish ****head. Also, we all have great jobs, lots of money and a family that we all love and take care off. suck my dick op suck my dick.

It's just a small amount of Indians getting offended - this generation's whiny, chip on my shoulder types like the one who made the documentary that cause all of this.

Old school Indians don't give a phuck. They just come to the country and work hard doing chitty jobs and get on with it like Asians.

-Apu is an Indian stereotype
-Willie is a Scottish stereotype
-Homer is a middle clash American stereotype
-Fat Tony is an Italian-American stereotype
-Cletus is a southerner stereotype
-Akira is a Japanese stereotype
-Cookie Kwan is an Asian stereotype
-Uter is a German stereotype
-Krusty is a Jewish stereotype
-Abe Simpson is an elderly stereotype
-Flanders is a christian stereotype
-Bumblebee Man is a Mexican stereotype
-Luigi the pizza shop owner is an Italian stereo type

But apparently Apu being an Indian stereotype is problematic despite him being portrayed as one of the Simpson's closest friends. The show has stereotyped Scots, Mexicans, Canadiens, Englishmen, Cubans, Australians, Chinese, Japanese, Koreans, Brazilians, Christians, Jews, the French, Italians, pretty much every other race you could think of and even Americans but apparently it's a problem when they stereotype Apu.

I only remember being popular back around 1990-1991 when I was in grade 9 and talking about the episode that aired the night before.

it was definitely the best animated show ever in it's prime.

I remember thinking it should have ended after the movie... and that 11 years ago.

what a bitch...Apu is a hard-working man with his own business, a hot wife, and a gaggle of kids. Such a negative stereotype...I bet you think they should have lightened his skin and gave him a more American accent

I saw one the other day from season 25 which was pretty good. Milhouse went bald so he went around with Bart pretending to be his dad. I was actually laughing consistently.
