been starting to talk to a girl at my gym every now and then when I see her bc i always see her watching so I decided why not. Easily one of the best looking girls there
other day guy smaller then I am, not attractive goes up to try to help her with unloading some weight off squat bar. He helps she puts headphones back on ignores after that.
I go up to her she takes them off, has a conversation, laughs at everything I say jokes back and forth slight flirt. Even came to say bye to me on her way out and proceeded to try to be funny/cute.

Good looks are like anything else: more valuable genetics for reproduction.
In ye olde dayes, only the smartest, most athletic, best looking caveman got to bang cavechicks and pass his superior DNA along. Somewhere along the line, probably about the time we got modern medicine, genetically inferior people became more viable and began reproducing. So blame modern society. Also, dumbass nerds tried to convince everyone that good looking people and athletes couldn’t also be smart in an effort to help their cause. This further diluted the superior genetic pool and now a bunch of autists are running around who offer nothing except being really good at math or something.
Im not advocating eugenics at all, but there are A LOT of people alive today who probably wouldn’t make it three turns into Oregon Trail.

I got a fat latino friend who dresses like ****, has a neck beard and is ugly as ****. The guy is a real estate agent. I've never seen a man hook up with so many crazy hot hbb's. He told me he's "just good at selling himself". The guy has so much confidence and is a pure sleaze bag. I honestly think it's purely about confidence. All this guy does in his spare time besides hit up bars is play world of warcraft. Just be the best you, you can be and own it, and don't give a fook about what anyone else thinks.

If you're attractive and introverted, there are problems. You ever see a guy get rejected and then freaks out on the girl? I've known guys like that. So much self-confidence that women became entranced by them. Ugly guys too. Back in college, I knew a guy who was like that. He had a huge nose. I mean, you could have ski jumped off of it. He had that swagger of somebody who was really good looking, but if he was, I didn't see it. The only thing he had going for him was being a manmore. He might have been 6'4" or 6'5". Anyway, he hooks up with this chick at a club and we later find out she's a local radio DJ. So I listen in to the show a couple days later and the other DJs are teasing her about meeting a guy. When she recites what she likes about him, she mentions that he's tall but she also says he's really good-looking. Thing is... he wasn't. His self-confidence made him much more attractive in her mind's eye than he really was. I wasn't a good friend of the guy. He was more a friend of a friend, so I'd only run into him at card games or the occasional night out. I think he dated her for a couple of months until he got bored.
Looks matter, but if she's intrigued by you, she'll think of you as being better looking than you really are.
Edit: I just found a pic of the guy online. He looks like a used car salesman. I'm tempted to post a pic here so FA miscers can see there is hope for them, but don't want detectives to figure out who he is.

This "I am angry that you're talking to me" behavior is a defensive mechanic from being hit on all the time and having a decent social value. While young and attractive they feel insulted a sub 8/10 male is daring to even chat with them. They cannot fathom a male being platonic in communication and see everything as personal attention and trying to be picked up. As their looks erode this frustration/anger will decline because the amount of attention and pick-ups are also declining, so they want to hold onto any form of male interaction. That's when you will see articles of: "Why am I ghost now?" and they will blame males for being shallow etc. It's all basic NPC theory.

You learn this aspect of life very early if you are honest with yourself and not dumb. People will say I am good looking (I never talk about my looks) but women completely ignore me or act hostile towards me. Not all, but most. It is something you just learn to deal with.

I went from 215 to a lean 160 lbs following about a year of relatively focused consistent dieting at age 23.
Went from obliviously happy with a few average to below average girlfriends from ages 16-22, to bringing back 7-8s at will from bars (always had a charismatic overcompensating personality and good face) and ended up hating all of humanity. It's sickening how differently people treated me, old friends included.
