Some of it is just a matter of supply and demand. Perceptions regarding white worship tends to get overblown, at least in respect to East Asia (Southeast Asia is a different matter due to economic factors). But even if there really aren't that many girls in those countries who're chasing after or even open to dating white guys, they still by far outnumber the white men available. Let's say only... 5-10% of Japanese women are open to dating white men. However, when white men consist of considerably less than 1% of the population... those white guys are going to have a field day with what's available.What I always find funny are the white guys who go after Asian girls because they're more "traditional." Being aesthetic in japan doesn’t matter. Your face, fluency in Japanese and salary are what’s important, in that order.

Japanese girls in general stopped caring about whites years ago because theres too many of us now so the exotic factor is gone and most of us are just nerdy English teachers barely scraping by with **** pay.

As for the easy of getting laid, Japanese guys are much less cucked than whites (ugly or fat chicks have a tough time finding a Japanese guy willing to smash) so if you want to go for the ugly Japanese girls you will clean house, which is what most foreigners do.

Im Asian so Im going to try my best to tell you how your experience might go. Brace yourself, because this might not be what you are expecting. It might sound harsh. But I am just trying to be honest without prejudice.

*This only applies to Taiwan. China, Hongkong, Korea, Japan*
Girls:
- Most girls wont date you. And by most I mean like 90% Because most Asians in Asia frankly do not speak English. This coupled with the fact that most Asians just rather date other Asians. Even if they do speak some English, they probably wont feel comfortable enough speaking English around you because you are a native speaker and they are not.
- The Asian girls that WILL date you are mainly going to be the girls that only date white guys. Japan is strange because its the most xenophobic of all the Asian countries yet also 1 of the most traditional. This means that any girl in Japan that WOULD date anybody not Japanese (not even Asian, I mean Japanese) probably does not have a great relationship with their family or their family does not have a good social standing. The less and less Japanese you are, the Japanese girl you're dating more likely has greater family disconnect.
- The super fine and or rich Asian girls will also most likely not date you because they either 1. Already have a rich and/or asthetic boyfriend and/or 2. Also only date Asians. If you are a super model or a celebrity you can accomplish this without being Asian. If you are Asian, you can date super fine Asian girls or rich girls just by being charming or decent looking or well-off. Even if you have less money than them.
- I dont want to say that only mediocre Asian girls in Asia will date white guys, because thats not really true. But the deck is definitely stacked against you. Plus most white guys (from my experience) just have a strange (what most Asians feel is strange anyways) taste in Asian girls. So these factors combined will likely lower the level of girl you can achieve in Asia. So in all likelihood, the girl might be like a 5/10 (in the eyes of other Asian males that actually get girls), but if you have yellow-fever, you might feel like shes a 8/10. I dunno if this makes sense to you.

Meeting Asian guy friends to hang out with:
- Unless you run into Asians that grew up in the states (like me), you and them will have a hard time getting along culturally. Because guys like us (Asians that now live in Asia but grew up in the States) usually only hang out with other people who had similar experiences as us (Aka Asians that grew up overseas but now we're in Asia). So the conversation is always a mix of the national language (in your case, Japanese) + English + whatever the local dialect is.
- The food might be hard for you to tolerate, but Japanese food is widely accepted so you could be fine.

Work Environment:
- You will get lowkey hated on. Your coworkers will resent you because all the ugly office girls will fawn over you cause you're the new white guy in the office and your supervisor/boss/manager shows you favoritism since you speak actual English and not that broken English they are used to listening to.
- Even though your boss will show you alot of favoritism, your glass ceiling is super low because even though they like you, they simply will not trust you. Your ceiling is manager.
- Now if you are planning on teaching English as your main job in Asia, automatically most girls wont respect you. And most guys will probably laugh at you. Cause you will just be seen as another "white guy that couldnt make it in the US so now youre teaching English in Asia". This is a very common theme. These guys can usually be found at bars 5 days a week hitting with other English tutors hitting on Asian girls that go there to meet white guys.

Everyday Life:
- I studied Japanese for 5 years. I will tell you with 500% certainty that studying it in a text book and actually conversing with it are 2 completely different things. Slangs people use, different vocabulary, speed of the conversation, tone of voice will all throw you off.
- If you are planning to just use a dictionary to get around. You are fcuked. Trust me. It will not work.
- If you are planning to live in Tokyo or somewhere super international and people speak English, the cost of living will be INSANELY high.

Now if you happen to actually speak fluent (or decent, by their standards and not your own) Japanese or whatever the local language is. You wont have those negative stigmas.

Sorry if it sounded harsh. But this is the reality of the situation you will be facing. So if your goal is to goto Japan and get some 9/10 Asian girl, it wont happen. Never ever. Asians are extremely superficial and cliquey.

Even for me. I lived in LA for 22 yrs and Asia now for over 10 years. Even I dont get along with with girls that are super local or local Taiwanese guys. My experience was like I described above, except my family was already here and I can date more girls cause Im not (entirely) a foreigner.
