How do child molesters gain access to their victims?

While some sexual abuse is purely opportunistic, most children are groomed and lured into situations where they are vulnerable to abuse. Common grooming strategies include:

Befriending parents, to gain access to their children. (LOL... wow. Buying them houses, etc. ) Fact
Offering babysitting services to busy parents or guardians. (Taking the boys away to go do stuff... sleep overs) Fact
Taking jobs and participating in community events that involve children. (He was active in children't charity)
Becoming a guardian or foster parent. (He wanted to keep that kid for a year)
Attending sporting events for children. (Well, he couldn't do this. Too famous)
Offering to coach children's sports. (Wasn't a sports guy but he often "Helped them with their careers)
Volunteering in youth organizations. (too famous I think)
Offering to chaperone overnight trips.(....... seriously.... he did this all day erry day)
Loitering in places children frequent - playgrounds, parks, malls, game arcades, sports fields, etc. (HE FUARKING BUILDS AN ENTIRE DAMN KIDS AMUSEMENT PARK)



SO............ he is doing all of this stuff. AND all the other evidence and testimony... but some how... some way... he isn't a chomo?

i think there's mitigating circumstances. he clearly had issues himself... he acted like a child, he missed out on his childhood, never really had many friends, everyone that came into contact with him tried to squeeze him for every $ he had... so having friendships with children was his escape cause kids don't use you for money. it's the 'truest' form of friendship in a sense.

but whatever we'll never really know and it doesnt affect me enough to get into a deep debate about it. i just thought id give my 2 cents worth.

- The Wade dude's account does not seem to be genuine or real. I can't put my finger on it yet, but he seems to be lying about a lot of things.
- Why were the fathers of the boys not interviewed? That one dude who was - was Wade's older brother (I'm assuming?). Women see things very differently than men. I'd have liked to see the account of the boys' fathers.
- Michael's crew says that both of those boys did not make any such allegations during his life.
- Jimmy's mom seems genuine. She describes Michael as I believe he truly was. A kid (mentally) trapped in a grown man's body.
- Was Michael sexually abused as a kid? He showed signs of it while he was alive and the documentary sort of solidifies my belief that he was. But by who? His brothers? His father? A manager?


The critics' analysis of the documentary is correct in that it's extremely biased.
I'm now watching the second part.

And yes, that Wade dude is scummy AF. I don't believe him at all.

Let's just remember that these two men have sued the estate for $1.2 billion.
