That's the way their brain is programmed. Most of these people also had good habits ingrained to them by their parents from a young age. You think parents who give their kids iPhones, iPads, tons of video games, and don't discpline hard work into then are going to be hardworking?

Most people inherit chit. Dead srs. Its like the chitty media about kylie jenner being a self-made billionaire

Im not saying rich guys dont work hard.. At all btw. Im not saying having 2 jobs is a bad idea. Im just saying its easy to stay motivated when you arent working 40 for chitty pay, have a backup plan (money saved up/ parents/ whatever) and arent expected to pay all your bills on 250 a week

Again, what would you do if your parents couldnt sign for a loan and you were supposed to support yourself from 18?
This lol. This is why I lol when people look up to rich succesful people outside of some true innovators. I know plenty of trust fund kids with their businesses and plenty that just got fked over. It is what it is.

Good point. They are also good at what they do and manage their money well.
I cringe at rich gurus claiming to teach people to be rich and their followers. It's like thinking you're gonna be like Michael Jordan if he gives you a basketball lesson. Not taking into account everything else.

Can confirm. I am working 7 days per week nowadays, like 10 hours per day. It's at my house and not often over the top stressful, but I have like 10 projects that I'm currently juggling and it's honestly a little crazy. But I'm already starting to have some of these deals close, and it's going to be absolute game over when with money when the larger ones do. Hoping to do well enough this year that I can work less hard for the remainder of my life if I wish.

I honestly haven't had a single alcoholic beverage, drug, or cigarette in like a month(and before then it had been a month). Somehow I'm managing to not completely lose my mind.

Working smart is more important than working hard but doing both effectively is key. The high one gets from having a financial plan of action go off without a hitch is fantastic and it only gets better as one gets older simply because you get better at avoiding pitfalls, ie knowing what to not do. Workaholism is a real addiction, at this point I get as much of a high off a productive 16 hr work day as I used to cleaning up plates of bam or chasing the dragon. It’s an addiction however and definitely not without its drawbacks, but if you want to “make it” financially it’s a good one to develop.

Depends how you put in work.

I was working HARD 7 days a week 12-16 hour days opening my restaurant.

I am still there 5 days a week but maybe 30 hours of actual work and I do what I want show up when I want and leave when I want.

I’ll probably go back to 80-120 hour weeks if I open another one in another year or so

This is more or less what we tell the kids coming up.

More specifically I tell them that if they can honestly say that what that have in front of them is worth their time then they should give it absolutely everything they have.

i encourage working for free TO LEARN [ENTREPRENEURSHIP]. You need to not be a slave to your mind but be a slave to your hunger. This is what separates poor people from successful people.

would work that if i could, working 40-50 right now for 6 figures, might be able to hit mid 6 figures with 60 but also had gov taxes versus business tax - need to pick up another income source probably.

You are in a good spot to seriously work towards converting assets into passive income. Rental real estate feeding into a diversified portfolio builds up very quickly.

Its hard to pin down how many units you need VS. how many units you can manage without needing a lot of outside help but you have to start somewhere. My brother and I have 10 collectively and for now have stopped looking to add more.

What the wagies don’t realize is that they may not nessisarily hate that they are working 40+hours a week, it’s that they are putting all that work into an endevour that has zero upside for big financial gains (real fck you money).

That wagie career is never gonna make one actually rich, no matter how hard they work at it. So all that work is intrinsically a waste of time.

Have to diversify bro, it’s mandatory if you want to make it. The best part is any loans you take out for supplemental income businesses get paid off quicker because all profit goes back into the business until it’s paid off. I’m on number 6 and hoping to open number 7 soon, each one is easier than the last so long as you have sound business practices and a void available for your business to fill.

My idea of real fuk you money is buying out the company that fired you or let you go for unfair reasons beyond your control. Then driving it to the ground. Or steal their clients and run them out of business if possible.

Okay I forgot about that. Still, wagie equity is typically a sliver of a percent, even when the company is a startup with <50 employees. And that stock is a low tier version of stock that can’t pay out until after the founders and investestors get their due, and after it vests for a few years. So if they’re lucky, they get a 800k-2 million pay out after a few years (tech job in growing tech company) but I still don’t think that’s fck you money. The founders and investors got it

There’s a huge ranching family not far from me, like fuking loaded af. The patriarch was an unbelievable ball buster that was more or less off his rocker and he treated his kids terribly despite their best efforts. The oldest son was 21 and had it out with the old man and walked out. Dude ended up buying his own place and cows with a loan from a local small town bank. The old man bought the bank, called sons notes due and evicted him off the place. Whenever I hear “fuk you money” this is what comes to me. The patriarch blew his own head off in ‘11 and the son died of throat cancer last week, sad end to a huge ranching dynasty.

The patriach had the right idea of revenge. No need to inflict physical harm. Lots of ways to teach people a tough lesson.

Truth.

I work then after work I go to my side business and if I get a gig I go to it on the weekend or week day.
