It's cuz a lot of men these days don't get laid and work easy jobs. A 1950's man got poon on the reg, slapped his woman if she disrespected him and generally worked a serious factory job. He spent most of his free time teaching and playing with his children, doing manly chores and playing cards with the guys. Today's men work office jobs, don't have a wife or kids, barely ever get laid, don't really worry about the lawn because they usually don't even own a house, and don't hang out with people much irl. So, they turn to videogames, drugs, or movies/tv shows to be entertained.

Grown men cried at the end of Titanic. Grown men sympathized with E.T, an abnormal, wrinkly brown alien. Grown men were terrified of the water after watching Jaws. Grown men were brought back to their childhood fantasies of space adventures after watching Star Wars.

this is no different.

OP is correct.

Enjoying the movies and being like "that was cool", then going on with your life is fine.

But the sheer *******ry from fully grown men that has surrounded Endgame is kind of worrying (srs).

yah i dont get it ....i stopped watching superhero movies . Literally brain dead movies with same exact story line...good guy vs evil guy...good guy wins at end with lots of ****ty action...and possibly a clifhanger so they can make a sequal to milk more money out of you.

I like movies that make you think or that you cant fukkin see whats going to happen within first 10 minutes of watching it. Movies like The Sixth Sense , Inception, or Shutter Island.

Used to like comedies too ace ventura, dumb and dumber, american pie... but now all the comedies are so fukkin pc and sjw they are trash too.

no idea...

every other dating profile on sites, a grown woman is talking about "marvel vs dc" (whatever the hell that means)

saw some tinder profiles of girls looking for dates to see "endgame"

I keep seeing people excited for this stuff and its weird as hell to me.

Think of the one thing you spend most of your time on recreationally, then realize that people may not like to do that thing you love so much. So instead, they may play frisbee golf or surf or use a metal detector at a park, or.....and this ones a shocker......watch superhero movies.

Because most of us grew up with these characters, and the movies have been out for like 11 years.

The author behind the characters just died in his 90s...

Who made you the entertainment police?

Also how the fuk does enjoying what you enjoy make a guy a ‘soyboy’ anyways? A real man wouldn’t give a fuk what other men thought of his hobbies anyways. Just lol at you thinking that hobbies make the man.

I bet you are one of those guys who moans at the stereotypical constraints that men come under (like not being able to show emotions etc) and yet here you are trying to make other men feel bad for enjoying a massively popular movie franchise.

Have fun doing all thosereally manlyhobbies that you are clearly doing all while fretting about whether or not you are doing enough to make yourself seem like an actual man... to other men on a gay bodybuilding forum.

Fuk off.

Honestly I think guys who are into sports are the biggest betas.

How can any grown man get enjoyment and satisfaction sitting on a couch or barstool every day watching other men hit or kick a ball? Ultimate beta. How does that even begin to compare to going to a movie theater a couple times a year?

Fuk that. I spend my afternoons fishing or kayaking or mountain biking or riding my motorcycle. No way am I turning on a tv to watch some overpaid *******s play some kids game.

Cool story but according to OP "A grown man should have so many other interests and responsibilities that superheroes doesn't even hit their radar. Take up a useful hobby like woodworking FFS."

I don't think that includes theorizing about fictional TV shows. It sounds like hes basically calling himself a *******
