Completely agree man and it's starting in the West too. Millennials are having less sex than any generation in seemingly forever and it's because we're a generation of porn addicts. Only a matter of time before birth rates decrease here as well. But it's always easier to blame social media and feminism or any other retarded misc argument.

Truth is nobody here knows. We're not heavy on Japanese users here. Maybe it's what everyone else has mentioned about working a million hours per week, class/wealth being prioritized so heavily and high standards by women. It's usually poor, low IQ people that continuously pump out kids. Just look at ghettos and regions where mass immigration is rampant. Japan is mostly Japanese.

Whats your point? He claimed that japan would be the same in 50 years with no immigration. So easy right dismantling and recycling cities, you have any idea where Japans economy will end up with that much less population, and so many old people.

The answer is that kids have gotten way too fawking expensive. It's not a Japan thing, it's an entire first world thing.

If you are a middle class or upper class first world brah, think about how much money it is going to take for your children to have a life as good as what you had. For one, the only fields looking to offer a middle class or above paycheck 25 years from now are law, STEM, and medicine, and even law's a bit shaky. So bare minimum, your kids are going to have to go to college. That's going to be six figures for each child.

Then you had better put your kids in a great primary school to make sure they can get into a good college. In the US, that means moving into an expensive school district, in Japan, that often means paying for a private school/cram school.

And if you and your wife both have to work, then they're going to need childcare. GG to your wallet there.

Then they're going to need to be "socialized" with "extracurriculars". Are you really going to drive around 6 kids around to dance lessons and soccer practice? Better yet, are you willing to let your kids gowithoutdance lessons and soccer practice?

You get the picture The cost of kids in the first world - both financially and in terms of time investment/commitment - is just insane. And this is because our standards for "successful kids" have gotten way too insane. And this is because the roads to success are getting narrower and narrower in the first world. Andthisis because our economy simply needs fewer and fewer people to function.

My comment wasn't so much directed at anime but at porn as a whole.

Still, it is sensible for women to have fewer children in Japan and feminists are right to point this out. Who would want kids when employees are expected to literally work themselves to death? What women would want that for a life, raising kids basically as a single parent, while the husband is working all the time? It's unsustainable. No wonder women are deciding against more children if the husband comes home drunk or not at all, and they should be. There are enough single mothers. No point in reproducing if a man opts out after ejaculation.

typical family life in Japan doesn't seem so bad. I think some people are over exaggerating how hard it is to provide for kids in Japan. Also, I know this is just 1 video, but if this is really the average Japanese family, doesn't seem so bad.

In the last 5 year in my city, taxi drivers have gone from 100% British to majority coloured. Same with car washes and delivery drivers. We aren't importing high IQ people. That is for sure.

The unsettling part is that as we get closer to perfection, society seems to slow down instead of expanding. Meanwhile, countries who can barely produce enough to sustain themselves have families of upwards of 9+ kids and end up having 2-3 of them starve to death while the rest survive. The result is a never ending system of poverty and suffering in a breeding strategy that relies on larger numbers rather than sustainability for a few offspring.

I lived in Japan, a few comments:

1) Under the veil of polite deference to authority, Japanese society is facing huge issues.
2) Culturally, suicide is endemic and people kill themselves for basically no good reason.
3) Japanese women are basically chopped liver after 25.
4)Large % of Japanese men have stopped having sex and become asexual.
4) No immigration.
6) 6 million Japanese kids (Kikkoman) have become social recluses.
7) The citizens of Japan work long hours for little pay.


With all that being said, its a fun country to visit and has amazing sites and sounds.

For talking about immigration - its not true that Japan has zero immigration.

It has zero places for immigrants to become citizens.

It does, however, have a large workforce of mostly low-paid Brazillian workers who work in car factories and ski lodges.
