With a solid $10 billion, I'd immediately retire. I'd buy a nice $500k-750k house near my current area. Once all the paper work is done for that, and I have a month or two of enjoying retirement in the house, I'd spend 2020 traveling most likely.

Other than "what I'd do", i know the question of the OP was essentially "where's your money going?" I'd probably park 70% of it into investments. Talking mutual funds in investment brokerage accounts. It'd be distributed among Growth, Aggressive Growth, Income, and maybe some in International funds but not a lot.

Invest in the city I live in. Invest in utility companies (water, gas, electricity, or etc.). Open franchise chain of new gyms similar to Destination Dallas and not cookie cutter clubs like LA Fitness. Memberships with reasonable rates lower rates for military, fire, and police.
Supplement a good diet: don't diet on supplements.

I'd put that money into creating a community of people who are like me. We'd start the foundations of a society and work our way to our own banking, judicial and political system. We'd work together with the resources at hand and begin buying and refurbishing companies (from other countries) that have a potential to bring in a profit. Whatever money we make there would be put into building trust with certain nations through international trade. As our community slowly grows and expands, our military will bring in more youth to defend our society. Our science division will work on ways for our people to remain healthy and strong, while the homeland security will ensure that our people are safe and secure. etc, etc

Take a chunk large enough to invest in a cash cow so I could live comfortably forever.

With the rest, would start a space program with emphasis on colonialism. Start with moon base and space elevator, then use that as a launch pad for mars base or deep space. Could single handedly save humanity from extinction srs. With the fame that would ultimately come from such efforts, would denounce the sjw nonsense as humanity would also need to be worth saving
