More stuff arrived so I'm just kinda taking stock right now.

-titanium exhaust hardware
-new OEM subframe and crossmember bolts
-irwin taps for AN and NPT fittings
-10 hose kit for catch can
-K Tuned Intake with 4" velocity stack
-Utah Pneumatics push lock vacuum line kit
-prothane motor mounts
-K- tuned billet oil adapter
-6AN - SPT fuel line adapters
-6AN E85 fuel line kit
-Taarks oil sandwich plate
-ICT Billet oil feed line, AN fittings for coolant and oil return
-Russell 6an fuel filter
-N1 OEM head gasket
-Mighty Mouse aluminum catch can
-Oem water pump and thermostat
I have alot more stuff boxed up to tag but I'll work on that later
Close up of titanium hardware

A slight setback: Tarrks emailed me this morning to let me know my fuel rail/injector combo is actually out of stock. Estimated ETA for new production run is 2-3 months out. I'm considering looking into a Mazworx intake manifold as they come with a fuel rail designed for their intake.
Pros
- bling as ****. Lower plenum is entirely made of CNC aluminum
- make more power at less psi, less strain on the system
-simplify the vacuum routing as the manifold is already ported for that plus Nitrous ports.
Cons- 1300 bucks plus other options and I will have to change my throttle body which is more $$$

Rocker shafts coming out. It's important to note the orientation of the oiling holes. They are only supposed to face one way, up. Otherwise this will ruin the topside of the shaft from lack of oil.

This is the rocker assembly in order, again these do not use shims but are premeasured for valve stem length. They can take alot of high rpm abuse due to the simple nature of using pads instead of shims which can fly out. Mfers are expensive if they dissapear, about 100 bucks a pop

Valve springs and retainers. I'm waiting once again on the Lisle retainer tool. It's pretty trick you stick it over the retainer and smack it with a big ass hammer. The earth magnet inside the recess catches the keeper and retainer all at once. I can pop all 16 out in less than 5 minutes and reinstall as fast vs people using old school valve presses.

I'll be running Supertech dual springs with the stock retainers. The titanium retainers are cool and lighter however the alloys used are not nearly as strong as the tool steel used in the OEM retainers. They would wear out and at 200 a set it's not worth the miniscule benefit

So this is a color I'm thinking of for the engine bay. I need to order paint and I'm undecided on my plan of attack for color.
Either this Stealth grey/ BMW Nardo grey etc

Or a simple black metallic. I feel the grey will make all the fancy bits pop and be a bit easier to care for HOWEVER I have always loved a nice metallic black. I have painting experience so I will be mixing my own PPG base and clear
Fast misc what you think?

So cool thing I had zero clue about. Supertech Performance is about 20 minutes from my house. They are who I am buying my valve train components from, spoke to a sales manager there and he's a big SR fan so I'm getting 25 percent off cost.
It also helps to keep product collecting dust on the shelves. Not gonna complain

Last project for the night. I drilled and tapped the valve cover for the 3/8 10an fittings for the catch can. Easy peazy but this is big boy territory for high psi setups

And with fittings

Good chit OP, pricey build for sure.
You lost me at FWD, but I support your thread/build because you took the time to line out all those pricey ass parts srs.
Good start to your thread, you’re cool in my book even if you’re a wrong wheel drive bruh. Looking forward to seeing the fab work and build come together srs

Didn't get any feedback from y'all fgts so I went with my gut and had my homeboy at AB Supply mix me up a quick 6 oz sample of base to shoot real quick. Quick scuff of the factory paint, wipe and tack. Ford Stealth Grey.
I'm really digging this color and this isn't even with clear. Any opinions?

I won't be stitch welding I will however be doing a two part foam in the chassis. Stiffens the car almost as much as a cage does

Anyways I tapped the block for the turbo oil drain. It's a 1/2 npt fitting so the bit is huge. It's pretty nerve wracking to do since if you get it wrong you **** up the upper oil pan flange or drill into the side of an oil gallery for the piston squirters.

Supertech springs and retainers ordered
ARP flywheel studs on the way
Supertech valve seals shipped
Mazworx headstuds finally shipped
Coilovers shipped
Head dropped off at the machine shop for hot tank and RA
Things are finally getting together at least for the block. I ordered a 1/4" thick aluminum sheet to make a block off plate to delete the IACV setup on the intake manifold.
