lmfao good eye. I actually cleaned it real good before taking the pics, so try and imagine the way it looked like before. That's my food scale. I'll weigh my meat and potatoes and all that. I also just finished a 12 week cut so I was using it multiple times a day. I also weigh out kratom on there and that powder gets everywhere.

you guys know, there are people who exploited this already?

People will buy cases of cards, and weigh out all the packs to get the holograms, so they can sell the holograms individually.

But, they carefully open the top or bottom of the card pack so it can be resealed using a heat sealer.

So what they do is replace the hologram with a regular card or a really cheap and common hologram to resell the pack on a site like ebay for example but market it as new.

They would market it as like 10x packs of this card series. But if you bought those packs you wouldnt get a hologram or you would end up getting the same cheap ****ty holograms in each pack.

The lengths that people went through. I stopped collecting when I was around 12. I don't think we were that smart yet. We were all innocent.

I've seen all kinds of greasy things happen at the flea market. This would really blend in.

I remember this really dirty Quebecer lady who would sell garbage jewelry. There was all kinds of strange Arab men that would come in and try and get her to sell them her wares for next to nothing. It would always end up with her engaging in a racist tirade. "no, 2 dolla. 2 dolla. 1 dolla. no you sell me now. 1 dolla. you give me now."

She'd then call them every slur you can imagine, in hardcore Quebec French. Her pregnant 16 year old daughter looking on with her greasy ratty boyfriend with the ballsack chin hair.

Yup.

Scammers try to fake sealed booster boxes as well.

Its nothing new; anything of value with a market will attract scammers.

Are these worth anything? I recently found my old binder full of 'rare' cards and probably 20-30+ shiny ones.

They're only worth significant money if they're PSA graded and come back with good grades (like 8-9+). You'll be able to sell ungraded cards, but don't expect to get huge money for them considering that they likely aren't in as good condition as you estimate them to be in.
