How bad does it grind the gears of people that no matter what they want to be the reality is they were born male or female.

As far as experimenting on children, as I said, it should only be done for those kids for whom it would be a dramatic quality of life improvement. What must be done is that which minimizes overall suicide risk and harm. There needs to be an optimal balance where the likelihood of regret for a surgery is balanced by the benefit. This is impossible to perfectly quantify, but like I said, a thorough screening process could help with this. Also, in the future, people will be able to use biomarkers to really tell if there is a woman's brain trapped in a man's body, etc. Right now we aren't there yet so we need to be very cautious. IDK how things are done in the UK, but I know the US trans policy is not as simple as going and getting snipped - especially not as a minor.

Women’s sport isn’t popular anyway. There are hormone rules coming in designed to deal with intersex conditions in women’s sport. Self identifiers need their own league.
There are no circumstances in which a minor should have their hormones blocked or even be contemplating surgery. I mean zero, ever. I wanted to be Sonic the Hedgehog when I was 12. Biomarkers are science fiction, ‘screening’ is pseudo science. Christ knows what your agenda is

As I said, there was an XY female olympian. What is that? Male or female?
You could make a definition where anyone with a Y is male. This would work as a dichotomy. However, the issue then becomes that XX females who oversecrete testosterone would win and dominate competitions.
Hormone level restrictions are exactly what I suggested, retard.
Christ died a long time ago, if he even ever existed at all. Human beings are biological machines. If you can't accept this and want to continue living in denial and forcing your imaginary friend upon others, that is retarded.
I'm not being woke. I'm telling you how it is. Doctors and scientists have looked at this situation. I used to make fun of trannies all the time. I'd still never date one. But reading more about it and asking how someone gets to even be trans in the first place led me to my conclusions.
Most of you miscers don't even think about any of this. You just bash trannies because trannies are gross, and you hide behind your fake religious wall as you do it. Ask yourself if the Jesus you believe in would have bashed trans people. Jesus never bashed anyone. He accepted everyone for who they were, right? Wasn't that his entire message?

You’re the one that thinks in some circumstances kids should irreversibly mutilate themselves. Only Christ can save you. I’m not a believer but then I don’t need him

@degennmaxer: I think your perspective is very interesting and I would agree with a good portion of it.
Unfortunately, though, I feel as though the idea regarding regulating levels of testosterone production in sports to create separate "classes" of athletes would over complicate sports. At that point, truthfully, I would hope that we're willing to accept exogenous hormones into the competitive sphere and turn our athletes into maximum performance freakshows instead. Seems less complicated to just let athletes take testosterone.
