Before my current position I took a job setting appointments for financial advisors. First two months sucked but like magic by the start of my 3rd month I was getting 2-3 a week ($300 per appt on top of base). You learn quick when you're making 100+ cold calls a day, most people who stick with it will reap the benefits.
You get better by writing down every objection you get and thinking of ways go overcome them later. Ask the right questions, show genuine interest in your prospect, make them lol if the opportunity presents itself. Track everything and constantly review your calls to figure out what could've been better. Ask someone successful around you for advice and be open minded to their coaching. Do it enough times it'll become second nature.
Do not think that what is hard for you to master is humanly impossible; and if it is humanly possible, consider it to be within your reach.
