Yeah some stuff sucks, but some stuff is going great too. What you focus on largely determines reality. That's why a lot of people are mad on this site all the time because they are algorothmically fed a constant diet of rage bait making them think that everything is going to hell.
No matter what happens all you can do is adapt and try to achieve whatever you desire - everything else is bs. I recomend disconnecting from any kind of mainstream media and online communities full of extremists like misc, psl etc - and only paying attention to balanced, high IQ sources of information

I rarely see any of this stuff and if I do i do not care, live and let live if nobody is fuking with me. Why do you get so wound up about abstract culture war crap instead of focusing on your own life?

Yeah, unfortunately. Human beings collectively are really stupid, tribal animals that have not yet learned to think critically before acting. People's actions are usually fuelled by emotion, not thought. This kind of emotional reasoning is really primitive. It's that fight or flight instinct that was once crucial for our survival as a species but is no longer warranted. Evolution is slow. It'll take centuries before the pendulum swings, or it may never swing that way, who knows.
I'd advise you to try and not get disillusioned by the majority - by the collective. Try and treat every person as an individual.

Go within.
If you dislike the world you're currently living in, there are plenty of things that can be done. The first thing you can do is to find a place of work that is satisfactory to your worldview. Ideally, this place of work should challenge you to push your career forward. Then you can work toward gathering a group of similar, like minded individuals, who you enjoy spending time with. Of course, you don't want them to be so similar that they don't provide additional perspective for you, or encourage you to grow.
Pick up hobbies that require large amounts of time to become proficient at, and devote time to those things. Stop watching television and programmed broadcasts in favor of these hobbies.
Work toward bettering your career path by obtaining additional professional certifications.
If you work toward these things, you will find that the status of the world has less and less impact on you. The ultimate goal for me is to be able to reach a place where I can choose how much of society I let into my life or interact with. I would like to create a place of peace for myself, and for my loved ones. A small bastion in the confines of society, where things make sense.

The place in the middle where people are content is vanishing.
Social media is largely responsible as you have a never ending stream of images/videos of people living better than you combined professional victim culture where everyone competes to either be the most oppressed or the most self hating.
Eat in a deficit to lose weight.
Hit your protein and fat minimums to stay healthy and keep your gainz.
Lift heavy and do HIIT to look and feel awesome.
Use the internet to learn why you should do these things and how to do these things.

Agreed on your above point; be a pillar of your community. Work toward bettering the circumstances of those around you, or helping them to do that. This is another wonderful path to pursue and another place where satisfaction can be found.
I also enjoy your use of the word "satisfaction" instead of "happiness" because it means you've correctly identified the mechanism for a fulfilling life.

Exactly brah, I used to be the one to pursue happiness but I found that happiness and pure joy are emotions and are a byproduct of being on a straight path.

Everyone I know without social media who doesn't keep their head buried in the news are all pretty happy/content. I have family members and friends with little to no knowledge of BLM protests, riots, looting, the tearing down of statues, etc. I honestly feel like the mainstream news and social media pretty much just control the thoughts/emotions/feelings of simple minded people. While technology and the internet is a wonderful thing that can work for us as a society, it also tends to break down weak minded people. Look at all of the miscers whining about onlyfans girls, struggling getting 'quality' girls on tinder/dating apps, concerning themselves with sh!t going on on the other side of the country, being worried about the state of the world, etc.
Meanwhile literally everyone I know that's happy, successful, positive, etc. just pretty much focus exclusively on their own lives, families, business, careers, etc. with little thought to what a bunch of losers are protesting about 1000 miles away.
As far as I'm concerned the state of the world I live in is pretty fantastic. Hustled hard through my 20s and now life is pretty much on easy mode in my 30s. I never will understand people why people don't just focus on their own lives and improving their own situation without worrying about what everyone else is doing. If you have time to worry about all that sh!t maybe work more hours, pick up a second job, start a side business, etc.

1) Find a way to make life fulfilling.
2) Don't.
Hope that clears things up.

Personally I feel like where I live, people have become more aggressive, suspicious, hostile. If you don't wear a mask, you'll get a nasty comment. You've got teen punks acting like @ssholes, shoving and cursing older folks. You've got nasty people at grocery stores who are yelling and cursing at each other because of some small inciddent. Everyone seems to be on edge now.
Here's an example of what I have to worry about since I take the same train. Can you believe this? This happened at 6:00pm on a Monday!
