Eh, wont happen anyway cuz it will never be 1 on 1. Even if Russia will side with China, the Allies is still too powerful.
That said, this is why like I posted before, Japan should be allowed to have an army that can join international wars(their current one is for defense only). It can greatly help. Back in WW2, they almost destroyed China.

If you think those are 100% accurate and predict the future, I got some bad news.
Do I think the U.S would steam roll China with ease? No.
Am I open to the possibility of China being victorious in a war? Yes.
Am I going to base my final thought on who would win in a full out war(not just a single battle) based on a war-game scenario? Absolutely not.

The other link is a. Australian news site, using unnamed sources, and even that one they admit the simulations are set up to fail. They are testing the limits of the fleet.

We failed in ****lia, Beirut, Vietnam, Iraq, and Afghanistan, not necessarily because of our war fighting abilities, but more so because of our intentions and reasons for entering in the first place.
Maybe we knock off the insanity and stop doing that.
Granted, this would be a conventional war (vs insurgency), with a more clearly defined enemy with rules of engagement that match a conventional war. Which on the surface seems like it would be easier to maintain public support (which is absolutely necessary), but at the same time, our military is no longer experienced in.
While a large amount of OE training over the past decade has been changing focus from insurgency back to conventional war, there is no actual experience left in our ranks.
I hate to say it as much as I hate to think it, I don’t want to let Taiwan fall at all, but man, we have to really consider this cost to be benefit ratio before engaging.
At a minimum, we would need strong support from the international community, not just with agreeing solidarity, but with their soldiers, equipment, tactics, non-war related diplomacy strategies, etcetera.

These types of things come out differently all of the time. I had read an article a few years back and it was if every country in the world attacked the US on their home soil, and the winner ended up being the US. Everyone has a plan until they get punched in the mouth. China is a strong country, but if they went to war with the US, each sides allies would come up to fight. I couldn't imagine another world war over territory, and the next war will be about natural resources.
I don't think in any scenario China would win attacking the US, just as the US wouldn't win if they attacked China. Home field advantage would play a huge role.

Before invading Iraq the war games were so one-sided with Iraq winning that the pentagon stepped in and changed the rules so the general controlling Iraq (in the game) could only do what the pentagon allowed him to do.

Psychological warfare and deception.
Let the enemy think you're weak so they stop inventing in developing technologies to beat you.
When they run their secret war scenarios based on their intelligence you beat them. But you release results that they beat you and they start questioning their intelligence and if your military is actually as advanced as what they think.
Kind of like then they had SEAL teams 1 and 2 then made 6 so the enemies started to freak out thinking they missed teams 3,4,5.
Besides Nuclear war, an unleashed US army has no competition on this planet. Not even every country combined can beat them. Inb4 Vietnam and Afghanistan, imagine those wars with no rules no chains and massive moral support from the civilian population. Also a land invasion of the US is almost impossible besides the soft cities where guns are basically illegal.
