lol psychopaths, I went into a sunglasses store and asked the girl if they had any in the $20-$40 price range. she looks at me and said 'no we start at $150' (which is when I chit my pants) and then stupidly said 'we only carry the good stuff haha'.

then I went to an open display and the guy told me I could touch the glasses, so I picked up a pair, turned em over and nearly had a heart attack when I realized I was holding $350 worth of glass. I put that chit down so fuking gently, I swear I've never caressed a pair of sunglasses that way.

after that I picked up a sweet pair for $30 like any normal functioning human being who isn't a closeted homosexual.

If you have to ask, then YES.

$100-150 gets you a very good, name brand pair.

$20 gets you acceptable, polarized, comfortable glasses for driving.

I don't wear glasses.

I want to do everything I can to not wear glasses.

So I buy good quality glass.

Are they slightly overpriced? yes. But I rather pay $200-$250 and have them last 10 years than have to get prescription glasses and sunglasses every couple of years.

same style for 10 years? no freak accident going to be associated with literal glass lens that can be scratched, and small moving parts that may fail regardless of the price tag?

nah fam, I rly think when it comes to expensive sunglasses, cars, and anything else that operates exactly the same as it's cheaper counterpart that you are just coping your ass off.

lmao at thinking anybody can tell the difference between $300 pair and $3,000 pair. nope. and it'snotabout being poor, some idiots work 40 hours @ minimum wage just to drop the money on a pair of shoes.

I have had a pair of Maui Jim Guardrails for about 15 years now. They replace the nose pads and temples for free if needed. Lens replacement is reasonable. Great glasses, I love them.

The last pair of Oakley's I had lasted me almost 10 years. No freak accidents or scratches or anything breaking for almost 10 years. I take care of my stuff. Obviously accidents can happen to anyone but why live your life in fear, might as well never go outside because a freak accident can happen.

There's a certain point where it becomes to much and you pay for a name or brand. I think for top quality prizm polarized glasses from Oakley paying the $210 I just paid is worth it. And I got the Holbrook which is a classic style I'll like for the whole 10 years.

I don't give a **** what other people think and if they can tell the difference. Cheap glass from a gas station can mess your eyes up. I rather not risk it for $200.

Inb4 but Oakley is owned by Luxottica so it's the same as the other sunglass brands owned by them. Well I guess a Volkswagen Jetta is the same as an Audi S8 or Bentley Continental or a Porsche GT3 or a Lamborghini Aventador since they're all owned by the same company.

i have tried all brands of sunglasses in the world...raybans, tom fords, hugo boss, police, persols, oliver peoples...and i know most are owned by luxottica....but my favorite brand is Oakley...they make the most quality lenses called Prizm....it helps you see so clearly when driving or cycling or doing any activity.
they also fit so perfectly on face and never fall off like aviators.


Any quality sunglass will last forever but you will LOSE IT before you break it...Raybans are very tough and i have lost couple of pairs lol....but YOLO.
I dont like cheap online brands or stupid hipster styles like those round steve jobs style frames.

$100 is a good compromise. It ain't a wasteful $300 but it's a stylish $100 with polarized lenses.
