Update....why not, Im bored at work.


I sold the Subaru for what I paid for it.

Pulled the 402 Big block apart and found out that it probably was run for a while with low oil pressure/low oil. Spun 2 main bearings and 2 rod bearings and the cam was chewed up. The Crank was past the point of regrinding and a replacement Crank....by itself it $1000. Ended up selling all of it for $350. Kept the TH400 though.

In that time I also bought a 1972 Buick Skylark with the 455 Big Block. Drove it for a while, put some money into it and ended up selling it to a shop nearby that's going to fix it up right.

We now have a 3 month old and my personal time is gone......looks like Im still holding off for now but will most likely be leaning towards a newer car that I can just jump in a go seeing as how I wont have any free time for the next decade.
