You're all pussies.

I barely take any precautions at all, aside from installing a washing station in my garage so I can wash my groceries/supplies when I bring them home.

I scrub each item down with anti-bacterial soap and then hose them off when I first get home, and then I let them sit there for a couple days before I bring them inside to give the virus time to die.

After the quarantine period is over, I also spray each item with a mild solution of bleach and vinegar before I bring anything inside and place everything under a UV light for a minimum of 24 hours.

Most of my food goes bad during this process, but you can never be too safe.

I make my gf go through the same process whenever she wants to visit.

BUT I still don't want to get it - it sounds fukken terrible. The people I know who've had it all say it was the sickest they've been in years. That doesn't sound like a fun time to me. Sure, you could have zero symptoms, but you could also get knocked on your ass for a week. So I take a few very simple precautions.

When I do our shopping, I wear a mask. After that, I take it off and go on with my life.

I'm not "scared" of poison ivy either but I still put on long pants when I'm going in the woods.

What a strangely politicized thing in the US, that not wanting to get sick (even if I don't think it's fatal, or a risk to me at all) makes you a pussy.
..yet if you are so concerned about getting sick, why werent you doing all of these precautions every other year of your life?

Pathogens are always around.

You gonna douche your nose every hour to kill the MRSA thats growing in it?

What paniccels like you dont undetstand is exposure =/= getting sick. Your immune system is constantly adapting, unless you are a bubblecel and never expose yourself.

Then you're susceptible to everything.

Its why mexicans can drink the water bit americans cant, they have better immune systems.

Logic not even once.

Boo fukin hoo wah wah im sick for a week crybaby chit

All the people I've known to have experienced symptoms said they would rather have the flu any day over COVID.
Your analogy makes zero sense. If the body "doesn't know how to react" to COVID; then who do so many people who catch it experience zero to absolutely minimal symptoms? Virtually all of these athletes who are being tested positive are completely asymptomatic.

What you described is literally no different from the flu. One person catches the flu and doesn't even know they have it, while another person catches it and is sick for weeks. That exact same phenomenon is seen with COVID - hence why the hospitalization rates are so low (just like the flu) and predominantly skewed towards people who are immunosuppressed (also just like the flu).

Absolutely infuriating. It's factual. I'm not a political person & don't often watch the news but I haven't heard one official say "eat healthy foods, lose weight, go outside and get 5 hours of exercise a week" which is their actual, general advice on health.

Do you have scars? Do they just go away? Covid, pneumonia, etc can cause scacring in the lungs. Even if it's rare, is it worth taking a chance being that person that ends up with a chronic condition which could have been avoided?

I'm going to have to see actual proof of this supposedly catastrophic irreversible damage. Why would you default to believing that when virtually everything "reported" on this pandemic has been grossly exaggerated and/or fabricated? By the way, those reports of "chronic irreversible damage" conveniently only started circulating once the actual data on severity (ie: death rates) started surfacing which painted the virus as a hell of a lot more mild than it was initially hyped to be. Just like how as soon as everyone found out that the only people dying from this were like 80+ years old or already incredibly sick, you started seeing these front-page articles about some "perfectly healthy" 30 year old martyr who supposedly died of COVID.

Back when they petitioned to have MDMA placed as a schedule-1 drug, they cited a study which "PROVED" that taking MDMA was "like taking an ice cream scoop to your brain". After the fact, it was discovered that the entire study they were referencing was comparing pre and post consumption brain scans (which naturally showed a significant drop in serotonin) but failed to mention that brain scans completely normalized within weeks. "Science" is as corrupt as everything else.
