It's definitely a perception. Bishes find new ways to make the asses look bigger when taking selfies, female popstars are casted partly because of their ass, implants, clothing enhancement, squats phenomenon ect.

They're just overall fatter and thicker now. Look at the arms...they had much thinner arms in the 90s or 00s. Add to that more girls doing squats etc.

Not a fan...I prefer the model look personally.
