It's not a left or right wing thing, it's more a weird white guy thing.

They think (maybe correctly) that AZN women are more traditional with gender roles etc. However they fail to factor in that this dynamic requires the male to bring something to the table too. These guys are so delusional about themselves that they don't realise they've absolutely nothing to give.

It's the exact same scenario as guys who think that Eastern Euro women are the best thing since slices bread as they're subservient etc. Yes, they're subservient to guys who can support them, are social, have status among their peers, can protect them and have other qualities expected of men. Some good points already made. I'll also add that a lot of these losers hold weird ideas about Asian racial purity. You'll often hear alt right folks talk about how great it is that many Asian countries are ethnostates that don't allow minorities in. They assume Asians will be as racist as them, or at least be more open to tolerating their racist beliefs.

I think it's also possible that some of these men have the idea that they'll import a person, then plan to exploit the language and culture barrier. It's easier to fall into an abusive relationship if you aren't entirely sure what is normal. To me it's just diet human trafficking.
