Because they view Asian women as submissive as potrayed in the western media, and now that White women are gaining power in the West.

Little did they know that Asian women are actually dominant. If you actually lived in Asia or from an Asian family you'd have known that the women usually control the family financial and decide which school their kids are gonna go, etc. Even more dominant that White women. They just don't complain as much and still retain their feminity unlike most White women of course.

It is such a huge misconception and cultural clash.

From my experience:

Physically:

Asian women are softer and delicate - their skin feels a lot softer, and naturally hairless. Also their hair is just unique compared to a white woman's hair. A white woman's hair is usually just really soft while an asian woman's hair is a bit thicker and straighter. As for the attitudes, I think Asian women tend to be a bit clingier than a white American woman. But at their core it's more or less the same.

And to answer your question OP, all comes down to preference
