Just move to a SAFE city with a good job market instead.Seattle, Austin, San Antonio are generally safe cities with thriving economies(though the economy is **** all over the usa now.) Look at how safe the city is and inspect the job prospects. Don't worry about political affiliation. Almost no big cities are pro Trump/Republican these days.

If you want to work for a big company, say Coke, Exxon, ********, a big 4 Accounting firm, FOX , Dell etc. You have to live in a democrat city; or at least an independent, Republican. leaning city that as a whole dislikes Trump (like Salt Lake or Phoenix)

Yup. I was considering taking a job in a town of 30k last winter and seriously regret it now that covid has made life fukking lame in the city. Everyone on this board should be a fit person, so mountain and ocean towns are where its at for us. Also most people in those types of places are either conservative or sympathetic to non-progressive ideologies.

Microsoft’s campus is in Redmond. Amazon has stopped expanding in Seattle entirely in favor of Bellevue because they don’t hate business like the communists on the Seattle city council.

And just fukking lol at sophisticated population. It’s a bunch of hippy Subaru and Prius drivers with a holier than thou attitude.
