Why are women SO ENTITLED? He made that money with his music, not you.

lol, I have seen beautiful marriages between people, and while I don't believe in soulmates or true love, I do believe that marriages can be executed to almost that level of being.

however, those are so rare... maybe less than 1 in 10 marriages are truly happy and beautiful. odds are against you lol.

If you get married and make a lil more than your wife do you still have to pay her money? How does this work?
-Some people say good things come to those who wait, truth is, good things come to those who work..... who work later.....who work harder...... who are willing to go further than anyone else to get them. If you're waiting for good things to come to you, you'll be waiting for a pretty long time.

generally no. Alimony is if you were married for 20 years, she had your kids, raised them while you made a lot of money. Then when you get divorced sheโ€™s been out of the work force for 20 years and canโ€™t work a decent job or ever saved for retirement because you were going to grow old together. For couples under 5 years married itโ€™s almost unheard of even if one wasnโ€™t working

the incentive to remain with someone is that you get to spend your life with them. if your desire to do that goes away, then you should definitely not choose misery over freedom

the beauty of a long term relationship is that it is held together purely by mutual affection. there is zero point if that's not present
You havenโ€™t really addressed my points at all. The point is that every marriage has tough times, and they can get past many of those rough patches if thereโ€™s a strong enough incentive, either social or legal. It creates extra difficultly to walk away and thatโ€™s a good thing when kids are involved.

Some marriages should end though, and canโ€™t or wonโ€™t get past the issues.

In theory of course itโ€™s better if legal contracts arenโ€™t involved at all and both people behave with strong commitment to work through issues.

The issue is when one gets it and one doesn't, or no lawyer is ever even involved in the process (idk if this is even possible).

Also note, if your partner can't afford the legal advice, you NEED to buy it for them as a safety measure. The "she (or I) couldn't afford it" excuse won't hold up in court. It's very very important for both to get independent legal advice in regards to the prenup.
This is where sheโ€™s( Dreโ€™s ex) is probably ****ed. More than likely there were lawyers involved.

Depends on what you mean by a little more. Most people who earn a decent, similar(80k vs 100k)salary and separate on amicable terms arenโ€™t willing to pay a large amount of money to lawyers for a mostly simple divorce. Most settle without it becoming an issue. What we normally see on here is when someone marries and then blows up and becomes extremely wealthy over 10-20 years.

Love the guy to death but Iโ€™m interested to see how Dwayne Johnsonโ€™s marriage unfolds if he is able to make the XFL viable and his wealth explodes. Heโ€™s already wealthy but not Jerry Jones, **** you wealthy. His marriage may be the 1 in 10 thatโ€™s just solid and will last( I hope so).

Stupid divorce laws in the US. Has nothing to do with marriage in general.
