Well, yes and no. Obviously intention matters - they probably didn't have some grand conspiracy to fuk over the world and kill millions as you alluded to. It doesn't absolve them of responsibility, but intention is the difference between a murder charge and a manslaughter charge in a court of law. Their actions after the release are that of a geo-political adversary and not surprising. That said, this was something that never should have happened, and they should be held accountable financially and the people who ran the lab should never be free again (if the Chinese haven't executed them already)

Interesting. I haven´t read the study yet, but this might have some validity to it. Theres a bunch of other ways that sars2 affect the body tho. It can target the kidney, lungs, liver, heart, adreneal gland, reproductive system and cross the BBB in several ways potentially. The bradykinin angle is interesting tho. Just goes to show how tricky this virus is. It´s definitely not just a respitory virus, that is clear. It´s like a combo of a bunch of differnt viruses. SARS2 mimic a lot of them.
