Hey, what can I say...she’s the boss!
But it’s not entirely one-sided and the power-dynamic is pretty even IMO.
For example — my latest project — I am building a custom wooden and metal board at my garage work bench (she allowed me to have the workbench in exchange for giving her full authority in decorating our bedroom)
On the board it will have our names and there are 6 magnet strikes/hearts we can clip next to eachothers names (3 hearts and 3 strikes each)
If I get more strikes than hearts then I’ll be in hot water lol
But my thinking is... if I get more hearts than strikes — maybe I’ll get lucky
Being the smooth operator that I am, I have drilled my 3 hearts next to her name, and I’ll leave my strikes in the tray.
“I might have to use some of your strikes against you!” she joked to me, she’s so funny lol
But she loves the idea, and it allows us to hold eachother accountable in our relationship
