"Intelligence" is an interaction between the brain, body and environment. We are building a more stupefying environment so yes, intelligence is being lowered at the average.

Most talk about IQ is committing the "mind projection fallacy" .Google it. Humans do not have a physical property of IQ like they have a physical property of height or weight. This is a terrible mistake to make that pervades our entire society.

I think it is to the point many people would say that if you read 300 non-fiction books you are not getting "smarter" because that would have no change in your IQ. If you get a masters from Stanford in computer science you did not get any smarter. You just went through the motions that reflect your IQ of how smart you already are. This line of thought is so ****ing dumb.

Except that the average is 100. So the average US brah is actually dumber. And I'm Canadian and we have 99 as a nation wide average so I'm not trynna hate on y'all, we literally fall behind too. I'm just trynna say that every person I encounter online (not on misc surprisingly) is fuking dumb.
