Though I should be financially ready around 50-55, I'll likely work till 60 for the healthcare and pension benefits. That will also coincide pretty much with when my youngest is off to college or career or whatever he ends up doing.

Plan to keep working as long as I'm physically able to. It's the getting out of the house and contributing to society that'll hopefully extend my will to live longer and keep me feeling useful.



atm slowly setting things up towards that life. Living 10 min walk away from work, doing something I enjoy, and getting paid enough to live comfortably and save a little, get paid more each year for same or less work hours, and having good workmates. Either I'm coping and pretty foolish and unambitious, or balanced work-life and I'm onto something real special here.

prob sell my shares of the company before I'm 50 and get out of the every day nonsense. I'll have the means to retire then but I doubt I will fully. Thinking about going back to consulting. Was fun, made good money doing it and if I want to take 2 months off it's not a problem as long as all contracts are wrapped up.

Semi retired now at 34. Probably keep going till 50-55. I work 6 months a year / 6 months off...but by the end of my last month off im ready to get back to work. Can't imagine being fully retired yet

I am retired for over 5 years. I have two small kids so I enjoy family life. When the kids are older I might start a new project, but I don't have to.
