yeah guitar is one of the best instruments to sing to because a guitar is always slightly out of tune by like 10 cents, so your voice can be slightly out of tune and no one will notice it. Singing to a synthetic keyboard or electro will never sound good live because when you have a note that is 0 cents off produced synthetically, if your singing voice is 10 cents off the note it is extremely noticable. (hence why autotune is 1000% needed for electro).

Only $110 per day out here on a 10/4 rotation. But rent is also only $600 so it’s still a good chunk of extra $$$

nice. yeah i know most contractors give like 100-120 per day. rent and food aside, still make at least a grand cash at the end of the month.

consulting ******* firms insist on paying for the room and 40-60/day. and motel rooms only have microwaves so you can't cook, brb wasting money buying cooked food, getting tired of the same old fast food or bar food.

Our contract rate has us @ $150/day, saddest part is seeing the cost control side and knowing the games they’ve played since the contract was signed. But yeah this place is relatively cheap and close to home so I bring food with me, it’s very cost effective

They reimburse the room straight across and then give an amount for food? Wouldn’t be surprised if that’s what our Client is doing with their people

yeah. all the consulting firms do that afaik. they book the motel rooms themselves and send you to them, and you expense every day you work for the per diem. i asked my boss if we cud do it the contractor's way and he said no, it's company policy.
