The first Borat was one of the greatest cinematic experiences I ever had.
I went there with like 20 brahs (half from my school half from another school) and we really laughed each other half to death. With such a large group to rile each other up we couldn't stop laughing. One of my friends pissed himself from laughing another couldn't stop crying and he was clearly in pain from lauging so much. I had DOMS in my jaw the next day and could barely move my mouth.
As far as his works go.
The Ali G show had absolutely hilarious bits and is probably his best work.
Ali G in da house is trash.
The original Borat movie was pretty great.
Brüno had some funny moments, but also a lot of cringe humor I found unfunny.
The Great Dictator was unwatchable.
Who is America? was solid, but a little too political and it seemed overprepared and overproduced to get really absurd moments compared to his more spontaneous early work.
My favorite clip is this one. Seeing the dude slowly lose his faith in humanity over Ali's stupidity is hilarious.

first time I sat through a movie in years.
It was amusing enough at times.. until it became a political, anti trump film. Lost me at that part

Comedy sequels never work. He punched down on easy targets. The fact he couldn't go round dressed as Borat should have told him the world has moved on.

I've never seen the appeal.
I've watched stuff like trailers and never came remotely close to laughing.
