Harvard political scientist Robert D. Putnam told us many years ago that it doesn't work, but no one listened.

USA was close to making a good equal and peaceful multi-cultural society because of how diverse it is. but now it's probably been set back a hundred or two hundred years cause of BLM and the flu and probably trump

How exactly does comparing European deaths from Islamic terrorists to the high volume of black on black crime in Chicago and Detroit help your argument in this thread lmao

The "Diversity is our greatest strength" mantra is a total myth, it clearly isn't.

Name one country that is highly diverse and also peaceful/harmonious.

The most peaceful countries are those that are ethnically homogeneous.

The only argument people have for diverse societies is "hey look at all the great restaurant options we have herr derr"

China is going to overtake America because they lack diversity. There's no benefits to diversity outside of food.

A unified country both ethnically and ideologically will overtake all other countries. There have been countless examples of this throughout history.

No, diversity is great if you are taking in the best and brightest who are interested in assimilating with the primary parts of our culture, freedom of expression, religion, 2nd amendment and capitalism.

The problem starts when you take in the literal dregs of society who have no interest in assimilating, only an interest in taking advantage of the system.

Strong username to delusional apologist viewpoint ratio homeboyo.

Gang violence is a completely different animal than targeted religious attacks from a non-native minority bent on conquest (not saying *all* islamcels, saying the islamcels who perform *these* attacks).

1. The former has no intention to unseat the current ruling status quo in any meaningful way (BLM isn't the Bloods/Crips, so you can put that bullchit back on the shelf before you even think about trying to present that argument) whereas the explicit view of the latter is that it is their God-given and God-protected right and duty to do so. Again, not *all* islamcels, but to deny there isn't a growing, prevalent school of thought like this in Islam is just delusional.
2. A real analogy would be if islamcels were killing other islamcels in their own neighborhoods rather than seeking out soft targets like churches, synagogues, and Christmas celebrations (explicitly Christian and Jewish places of worship and celebration) and attacking randos for no reason other than their beliefs/to get revenge for being triggered by a cartoon. Gang violence is far more predictable and logical in that it is usually motivated by money, status, drugs, turf, etc. Actual absolute deaths don't matter so much in this conversation-- the reason those deaths occur does.
3. Europeans have every right to be alarmed when their governments are bringing in tons of people who believe roughly the same thing as the people chopping off the heads of 70-y/o women in churches, whereas blacks are already in America and the ones who immigrate there usually don't love native black Americans. (Can pull up the Islam btfo Pew Poll if need be for this point brah, but I think we both know what it says there).
4. Gang violence affects a very specific portion of the American population, terrorism affects the entire spectrum.

Looking forward to the CP novel this post is likely to trigger brah, mirin' if you can respond unemotionally.

Cliffs:
- Both can just be chitty brah, one doesn't negate the other being dangerous and alarming to society-- both are major problems.
- I have all the respect in the world for Muslims for come to the west to accept and celebrate the things that made it great, and as a religion Islam is pretty aesthetic, but to try to sit here and say "oh just because fundamentalist terrorists are only occasionally driving rental trucks through crowds of people and chopping the heads off of elderly women and children, eurocels have absolutely no right to bish and moan because black-on-black violence is a thing brah" is almost female-miscer levels of delusion.

As an immigrant who loves America and it's values, i don't think i cause any destruction to America. I think is the people that hate America that immigrate here that cause the problem.

ehh.. idk. all you need is a split by numbers of 49 to 51 to be the "Dominant" culture. not sure its by strength

e.g. take super strong culture represent 49%. import weak 51%. weak 51% is majority

I would argue there is a big difference between "majority" and "dominant" in this context brah, but I see the point you're trying to make.

yep. i agree, im just saying the "assimilation" is kinda assuming things. i think theoretically you are right - if the culture is dominant they could influence assimilation more

but im just saying is all it takes is more #'s for one to outweigh the other. regardless of opinion(s)

I could actually see this country splitting into smaller countries. It's legit that polarizing. I live in rural California and my entire state is ran by SD/LA/SF/bay area/coast, nothing else matters due to the size of those communities.

I could totally see the east, west and north and south United States.

One case in point. Trump said he was going to deport "bad hombres" and used that as an excuse to deport any and all undocumented persons. In one particular case, some ex military guy who voted for trump in 2016 said he thought he wouldn't have to worry about his 'military wife' being deported. Wrong, family divided.
How big of a ******* do you have to be to use the term "undocumented persons?" Do you put your preferred pronouns in your twitter bio *******?

Diversity in the sense of people coming together from different ethnic backgrounds is not a problem when those people naturalize and accept themselves as part of a greater society and, to an extent, culture.

Groups like BLM and ANTIFA espouse entirely different, contradictory views to the United States which is why you still see African Americans disagreeing with the former. Furthermore, both groups are really comprised of "diverse" people if you're going by racial backgrounds, but they share a similar subset of beliefs, political ideology, and culture. They are essentially a diverse microcosm who happen to be attempting to spread their influence throughout a nation that isalsodiverse, and in fact farmorediverse as a whole than those small groups - unless you count their unlimited gender identities.

I would say the only way diversity is failing us is how a segment of the population has made it suddenly becomethedefinitive measure of a person's character and their place in society, valuing what they perceive as "diversity" over the individual.

California splitting apart would be a start on its own; it's insane that a statethatlarge and politically diverse is still together. You simply cannot meet the needs of Group B or give them proper representation if you are treating them like Harry Potter under the stairs while Group A gets treated like everyday is Christmas.

Largely this. I know these kind of statements cause a lot of pearl clutching over "racism", and the like but...those are the facts.

Its also very interesting how you constantly see non whites so eager to immigrate to predominantly white countries (despite how evil and racist we are), but you don't see the opposite.
