Fun to play not to stay is what I say about the cities ok


Went to NYC for 30th bday, stayed in Manhattan Hnnnnnngh everything just so expensive.

Oh and rats, cockroaches, trash, loud noises constantly, no open roads....you can find serenity now in little pockets I discovered

Would love to live there off and on if I had an arrangement. Especially the Village!

I live right outside NYC and this is somewhat exaggerated.

You can def make it in NYC if you are middle class, sure there are some parts that are bad/expensive/etc, but that could be any major city.

I can fully attest to the woman though. It's almost too easy. If you cant get laid and youre within the general vicinity of NYC then you arent going to get laid anywhere.

Aware me on what people like about it (to live there, not just visit).

More stuff to do? Smaller cities have the same ammenities (airport, entertainment, etc). Only difference is it takes an hour by subway to get there instead of 15 minutes by car. What does NYC have besides the regular tourist attractions you could hit up in a two day vacation?

Dirty, crime, traffic, and expensive come to mind basically. No hate, but I seriously don't know why someone would choose to live there with the exception being that you have family living there too.

Brooklyn isn't so bad either. You really just have to know your way around.

I've mentioned it in my previous post, every major city is going to have good and bad parts. Literally every single one and you'd be naive not to think so. For what it is though, even during Covid, NYC has its good and bad.

NYCs main draw is how cosmopolitan it is. Lots of people from all over the world are constantly in and out of the place. Lots of wealthy Europeans and others.

In most US Cities, people are going to be relatively closed off and stay with their groups. In NYC, you could go out solo and end up meeting some random wealthy S Americans and party for 4 days in a penthouse. It's just a completely different level of experience.

nyc Brahs help a toronto miscer out. I LOVE the city, been multiple times over the last few years. Food, city enivornment, people, everything.
I can't say the women are better looking than in Toronto, dat dere Canadian ethnic diversity HNGHH feels like baskin robins in this mfer w all these flavors.

You can have a single apt/studio but it's expensive. I have a friend that lives in Midtown for 2k/month.

I think 100k is a good salary to live there.

NYC's summer are more humid but their winters are less cold. Weather is a wash, depends on who you are. I would say the atmosphere in NY is better though.

focus on your work. the extra stuff comes too easily, and you want to avoid the wrong crowds.

Make sure you set yourself up socially. Stay in touch with the right crowds, and avoid bad stuff like drugs or sales scams.

I would also stay in touch with your home so you do not lose perspective. Cannot overexert yourself. You can study anywhere. The value of a degree in NYC comes from the networking.

Visited once. I enjoyed it. Too many bums though. At 10 PM, Manhattan closed down and the hustle and bustle was replaced by bags of trash and people sleeping on the sidewalk.

Dunno how someone can live in that environment. I have to be in the mountains.

The first time I went to NYC I was in Times Square and a homeless man whipped his dick out in front of a school field trip of kids and started pissing in the middle of the street. On the same trip my girlfriend wanted to take an elevator out of the subway and homeless people had been using it as a bathroom. There were piles of **** in each corner. This was in a busy station in Manhattan. I've seen that kind of stuff in Chicago, but NYC feels way dirtier.

NYC is a absolute degenerate ****hole and corona is the best thing that ever happened to stop me from commuting there daily for work.

Trash and filth everywhere
Subways were disgusting, smelly, and crowded
Everything overpriced especially living
Massive crowds everywhere you go and now tons of annoying kunts having protests or ***gy dance parades in every popular area.

Bill de Blasio is mayor
Tons of brain washed kids who are anti police and think socialism is a good idea.
