Does this still work? I I need a new carrier. I am paying 50 dollars with metro pcs.. and can't barely browse the internet unless I am using my cable wifi

Worth a try. Metro uses T-Mobile towers, right? You might do better on a Verizon MVNO like Visible. Or something with AT&T.

I ordered a Visible sim and will be trying it this weekend, most likely.

US Mobile has good prices for Verizon based data, also. They give you two SIM cards and if you activate the black one it is on Verizon and the white one is on T-Mobile. With Visible you get unlimited hotspot and data where on US Mobile they don't give you any hotspot without paying extra on their unlimited plan.

FYI, there is no size limit on party pay anymore. So you can actually join one of the big parties that are listed on Reddit if you can't find enough people on your own to get the $25 per month deal.
