Any Miscers use the mobile carrier Visible?

I had Visible service in 2019, and was a big fan of the unlimited everything for $40 / mo. I'm ready to rejoin and want to show some love to fellow miscers who use the service. Throw me your referral code and save $20 when I join tonight, or I'll just use a random referral # posted on reddit.

Cheers!

Unlimited everything for $40 / month ($20 first month with referral code), as well as $100 MC gift card if you bring your existing phone over to Visible.

Nice! How do you like it? Are you on the Party Plan I think it's called? Throw me your referral code, and I'll save you $20 on your next bill when I sign up later.

Love it so far. Unlimited data, use the unlimited hotspot quite a bit as well. Kids love it. Every now and then, prolly 4 times, noticed my calls and texts not working but just turned on/off airplane mode and worked instantly. No gripes at all here....straight talk was being an ass porting my schit but past that...love it. Hold on let me see if I can get a code

They quit doing the referral program now that they have party pay I guess. They just told me that.

You should also check out the visible party pay subreddit. They have listings for party pay groups but they tend to fill up fast.

$25 a month for unlimited everything is great (no taxes as well).

During the activation process it will ask if you want to keep your number or select a new number. You'll need additional account info from your current carrier though to port out your number.

Also if you bring your number and phone you can get a $100 gift card after 2 months.

There is no phone number...you have to use chat.which I sorta like and I almost never wait for a rep and you can port your number.

I haven't experienced any known throttling, and now that T-Mobile bought Sprint it seems like connection is even better everywhere.
On Mint after 35GB of data you get throttled to 2g speeds and you only get 5GB Mobile Hotspot.

Only thing with Visible is the deprioritization.

How's the deprioritization for you guys nowadays? Anyone still using it? Has the service gotten better or worse?

I'm tempted to switch from Mint since I have renewals coming up. Visible seems like nothing but horror stories when I read up on it on Reddit.

I might switch to US Mobile - they are on TMobile like Mint. 3+ lines @ $25/month for unlimited data (hotspot extra fees as an add-on) is what I'm looking at.

I should have good Verizon coverage for visible (but dat dere deprioritization) but I already get great TMobile coverage and speeds...

I don't recommend them.

I used them for around 5 months on my Pixel 2 without issues. Then all of sudden, no service, no data no nothing. Was chatting with reps for over an hour and they couldn't figure out what was going on.

Finally they tell me that they didn't support my phones model which made no sense. Literally signed up with that same phone to use their service and was going all good and now, it just doesn't work because the phone I am using.

Fuk them. Only ones I could rely on were Mint, Boost mobile, Hello mobile and my current carrier: Google Fi.

Ya, it's a pain bringing your own phone. They say it will work and most the time it doesnt. Better off buying one directly from them if you want it to work. I've brought over my S8+...but it was a pain. Any phones I've bought off them for kids worked fine and mine has been going on 2 years.

Bought my Moto from them, and I've had their service for over a year. Nothing but good things to say overall. Unlimited everything for $25 and using Verizon towers is a great deal imo.

Yo Rich, or anyone else in this thread, feel free to send me a friend code and/or group (party thing) to join, via PM, reps, or negs, or in this thread.

I'm not sure if that's all anonymous or not, so I understand if you don't want to send me a code - I could get one from Reddit. Thanks

Are you doing any of the deals?

https://www.visible.com/deals/

The "$200 virtual gift card when you switch to Visible" sounds good, but there are restrictions.
