Apparently the flu has just about been eradicated in Canada. According to our national broadcaster, "at this point in last year's flu season, Canada had already recorded 711 positive cases of influenza. So far this year, there have been just 17."

Amazing stuff. Though not nearly as amazing as the news that not one, but two vaccines are more than 90% effective against covid. Record-setting development and efficacy against a new virus.

If it all sounds too good to be true, it probably is.

inb4 it's the lockdowns, it's the masks, it's working! see! but somehow it is not working against the virus that these lockdowns and masks were intended for! sweet!

we should let covid run it's course that way there will be no more flu deaths!

most of covid 19 IS the flu and the common cold. They just created a test that tests positive for all of it.

im very concerned with how crazy people are getting with masks. Shows are having to put disclaimers on that they werent filmed during Covid lockdowns. people are attacking people on social media for not having masks on in pictures and videos and reporting them to their jobs.
