You don't understand what you're looking at.
That line for 2020 is an average of 2015-2019 deaths each week. Effectively 2020 is a copy of 2017. Even though the US experiences 40,000 more deaths every year, and has for over a decade. The 2020 is an average of lower years, a near identical copy of 2017, not a forward projection.

And depending on which study you go by, 1/4th to 1/3rd of excess deaths are not from the virus, but from "events caused by the virus" (lockdowns). Fake? No. Misleading since the people shoving such graphs in everyone's faces don't know what they're sharing? Oh hell yes.
