Omaha's a cool city, it wouldn't be my first choice because I personally hate winter, and winter in the midwest is gloomy and cold. Late spring through fall are nice though. It's way greener than anything in the entire state of California, or anywhere out west for that matter.

I'm hoping to make a similar move out of Illinois, though I'm looking at Arizona, Florida, or Texas, mainly due to climate. God willing.

Considered Texas, Tennessee, Kentucky, Florida and Iowa. Tennessee has a decent tax structure, no income, low prop compared to TX, IA, NE. I had applied to Nashville twice before getting Omaha, honestly I think I might be happier in Omaha despite the winter. I've yet to experience Nebraska cold so we'll see heh.
