For the record: Yes, I believe that COVID 19 exists. I also believe that people can die from COVID 19. However...
Here is how COVID 19 deaths are calculated in the US and UK...
Both videos are less than a minute, both people speaking are US officials.

For people who don't want to watch the video, or want cliffs, here is the problem from WHO...
"Description of the problem: WHO has received user feedback on an elevated risk for false SARS-CoV-2 results when testing specimens using RT-PCR reagents on open systems. "
" In some circumstances, the distinction between background noise and actual presence of the target virus is difficult to ascertain. Thus, the IFU will state how to interpret specimens at or near the limit for PCR positivity. In some cases, the IFU will state that the cut-off should be manually adjusted to ensure that specimens with high Ct values are not incorrectly assigned SARS-CoV-2 detected due to background noise."
https://www.who.int/news/item/14-12-...-for-ivd-users
Anybody who calls the video conspiracy theory bullchit is calling the above from the WHO conspiracy theory bullchit. That report is literally the center of what the video was saying.
The creator of the PCR warned about it.
This might explain why the President of Tanzania who was skeptical of the accuracy of the test, sent a sample from a piece of fruit and got a false positive for a piece of fruit, which the president lied and said was a human sample! Ded srs...

I can only hope, but eventually in time, when this is all over we are going to see the whole picture and there will be questions to be asked. We will see how some people made tons of money, while others lost everything. I can only hope that it does get attention and people don't just sweep it under the rug. Maybe there will be a great reset, but it might not be the reset some people were hoping for. Something is going to happen.

I feel bad for people who can't work but people's lives are more important then money.
I feel nothing for these soy cucks who are ready to commit suicide because they are so desperate for human contact. They want to sit in a bar with a bunch of other insecure drunk idiots talking over each other calling it a good time?
It's ridiculous that they need to be around other people so badly that they would contemplate suicide just over being alone dealing with their own thoughts even for a short time. There's no bigger group of dumb sheeple in the world

The political conspiratard people have owned it lately though. They literally don't know there's a difference between research and googling things on their phone. They are prone to taking things drastically out of context and believing things just because they are posted as well. Real dummies we are talking about here.

Regarding deaths, there is an easy way to determine that COVID19 deaths are generally quite accurately counted (and in some countries, are being undercounted). It's called excess mortality, which is the spike in overall deaths above the expected statistical trend. You can't fake those or exaggerate them by mislabelling - they are real dead people that we should not be seeing otherwise. Excess mortality spikes in every country very closely follow COVID19 case and hospitalisation spikes, with a small expected time lag.
The large spikes in excess mortality the hard hit countries have seen are therefore almost entirely explained by the virus.
There's no point telling me to watch this or that video when you don't know what you're talking about yourself.

You are positing that the only explanation of excess deaths are COVID 19, whilst ignoring all the other things that are negatively affecting people's health in 2020. Like postponed healthcare, mental health problems directly due to financial insecurity, fear mongering and social isolation, increased alcohol consumption, etc.
To attribute the increased hospitalization rate (like you did) to just COVID is IMO simply dishonest, or you haven't done much research into the affect that stress and mental health has on susceptibility to illness.
Also, what you are saying is addressed in the video.
I don't know why you came into this thread without the intention to read or watch anything.
You might be interested in this study published in nature, that I recently came across...
Which goes to the anti-lockdown people...
"Previous studies have shown that asymptomatic individuals infected with SARS-CoV-2 virus were infectious3, and might subsequently become symptomatic4. Compared with symptomatic patients, asymptomatic infected persons generally have low quantity of viral loads and a short duration of viral shedding, which decrease the transmission risk of SARS-CoV-25. In the present study, virus culture was carried out on samples from asymptomatic positive cases, and found no viable SARS-CoV-2 virus. All close contacts of the asymptomatic positive cases tested negative, indicating that the asymptomatic positive cases detected in this study were unlikely to be infectious."
https://www.nature.com/articles/s41467-020-19802-w
Professor Martin Kulldorf in the second video I posted said that to count asymptomatic people as 'cases' is a very unusual way of assessment.

There is a small component of excess deaths that are unrelated to COVID and even caused by lockdown, but they are an absolute minority of the total. Here in the UK too, there's very little evidence of a 'lockdown death surge' whatsoever. We know all this because (for the second time):
-The excess death curve very closely follows the COVID case and hospitalizations curve with a small, expected time lag. This is completely implausible unless the vast majority of these deaths were COVID.
-Countries and regions that had lockdowns and had low COVID spread and hospitalizations, also had low excess deaths. There was no surge in non COVID, lockdown-induced excess mortality where COVID spread was low.
-Excess mortality returned to baseline (or below baseline in some areas) as soon as COVID spread settled down, even though some level of restrictions usually remained in place and lockdown damage should still be manifesting.
-Things like suicide, which were cited as the main worries during lockdown (not without reason), have not seemed to have increased significantly anywhere:
https://www.bmj.com/content/371/bmj.m4352
So all in all, while there is obviously a small component of excess mortality that is not COVID and may be directly lockdown induced, the vast majority of it is COVID. Nobody seriously argues otherwise unless they have no understanding or knowledge of the data.

No, they tweaked the number of cycles aka sensitivity of the PCR tests to get more positives for political reasons.
They dont even give you a raw number, they just tell you positive or negative. They dont tell you how positive or negative you are.
People think of this as all black and white as in you have it or you dont. No, they can literally tweak the definition of positive to suit their political agenda in an election year.

Unfortunately, it works, just simply say to to the misc that someone believes X, and I've noticed that people believe it without question. I think it's due to the MSM, they label anyone who questions the mainstream media as having identical beliefs to David Icke. IMO it's a MSM tactic to steer people away from questioning... People like to go on and on about "trusting science" while living in cancel culture. You say the wrong thing and its career over. There is no incentive for a prominent scientist to publicly discuss anything contrary to the currant narrative when it comes to any politically charged subject. Society and politics has shoved science into the echo-chamber.
My kids are vaccinated and I get the flu shot, even in 2020 I got a flu shot. For me, this isn't about the science, this is about what science has become. COVID-19 is being used as a terrorist weapon. The media will punch you in the face with "total deaths" and "case count" but does not report on any of the less convenient DATA like who is actually dying and how case increase is mirroring testing increases.
From the very beginning it was obvious that the elderly were in trouble yet we did things like put COVID-19 positive patients into nursing homes and failed to do obvious steps like set up a program for the elderly living at home to get all of their food, supplies and medicine 0 contact delivered.
We have 2008 to look at when it comes to devastating loss of life due to disruptions in the economy and the health care system and the same people promoting the lockdowns were the ones reporting this just a short time ago. What are our preventable disease deaths going to look like over the next 5 years as a result of all those canceled screenings and furloughed doctors?
IMO this is a case of powerful people injecting early influence to promote their own agenda and then the intentional execution of the elderly to justify the proposed COVID-19 countermeasures.
I don't think its been brought up but there is a direct correlation between COVID-19 and mamajuana. We were wrong about weed and we were wrong to stuff our jails full of people due to weed offenses. Instead of saying "oops, that was a mistake" we continued to go after weed like it was the worst thing ever in the hopes that some day all of this would turn out to be worth it. This is how politicians deal with being wrong, they don't

Anybody who calls the video conspiracy theory bullchit is calling the above from the WHO conspiracy theory bullchit. That report is literally the center of what the video was saying.
The creator of the PCR warned about it.

Like Pamela explains, it is hard to recognize between fragments of the virus and the whole virus, based on how the PCR test is used.

Do you disagree with the WHO, or content of the video?

Someone who is a natropath can also have a PHD too. I don't know why you seem to be framing that as mutually exclusive. (I'm expecting if you do reply to that, it will be a sarcastic come back.)
What the WHO is saying is fine to clinically diagnose COVID-19,
You don't understand the point that the video, Pamela and myself are making. You and Islingmodel seem to have the same MO, neither of you read or watch anything, and you keep trying to avoid the actual subject and engage in ad hominem.
I'll repeat the most important thing from the WHO report....
""Description of the problem: WHO has received user feedback on an elevated risk for false SARS-CoV-2 results when testing specimens using RT-PCR reagents on open systems.
Meaning, the WHO is now advising them to adjust how they've been testing and diagnosing COVID, after receiving feedback that it's creating too many false positive.
Pamela correctly summarizes the problem as this...
"It is hard to distinguish between fragments of the virus and the whole virus, based on how the PCR test is used."
So, if you disagree with Pamela's summary posted in the sentence above, you disagree with the WHO report.
(Note: I predict that you won't address anything I've written, and you'll either not reply, or you will just repeat your Ad Hominem. Let's see if I'm wrong...)

i'll refrain from calling her Dr. lmao
If all she is doing is reiterating the WHO statement on PCR cycles for increased type one errors and using only approved primers, then I don't see how it's a big problem or how this differs from other laboratory testings. It sounds like you're trying to turn a small percent of known testing errors into something bigger than reality to drive your narrative of a huge number of false positive tests and make COVID-19 appear overblown.

You are right, I believe that there has likely been a large number of false positives that have been used to justify the lockdowns, that have devastated the hospitality industry/the working class, and national mental health. The PCR test issue isn't all I'm resting that it on, I'm also basing it on a meta-analysis and a study concluding that Asymptomatic spreading is between 0 to 0.7%.
