Depends what u mean by karma. Is there a karma goddess that punishes you directly for doing something bad? Probably not.
But putting negative energy into the world can yield negative energy. Example: young guy steals handbags from old women. Gets caught, goes to prison, takes it twice a day in the ass from tyrone.
Divine intervention? No. But negative actions often yield negative consequences. That can be considered karma too.
If i live life happy, helpful to those around me etc, i will be liked, have friends etc etc. does this count as karma from putting positivity into the world?

This is American pop culture understanding of karma though.
None of the Buddhist denominations believe that karma is a simple affair of a rock falling on a bad dude's head after he committed the deed.
Karma is a very complex concept in various Asian traditions, and the ramifications of karma are pretty much impossible for a normal human to comprehend.
It's more likely that someone inherently bad or evil, was someone good in a previous life who actually didn't end up taking good actions.
And by being bad in this life, they're helping good people see ignorance for what it is.
It's all complicated.
Truth be told, Karma, reincarnation, and Samsara, are all Buddhist/Asian concepts that make more sense than the retarded desert Hebraic religions or even much of the atheist beliefs.
Karma can be a very ruthless topic though. In Asia, one of the reason that some people are left to die, is because some Buddhists believe they're simply ****ed in this life due to previous karmic balance. Buddhism can be very ruthless in its interpretation of life too. They'll literally leave a little girl to die and say "she was a criminal in previous life".

We're basically justrandom genetic vessels in a chaotic and uncertain reality. Bad things happen all the time and it doesn't always have a counterbalance. Babies get crushed by tractors when they momentarily fall out of their pram. Openly cruel behaviour may get people arrested, but cunning cruel behaviour can go elusive and never result in a comeuppance.
Karma is essentially a cope. If somebody is an a$$hole to you, you want to believe that "they'll get theirs", but there's no guarantee that will happen. Yes, people's sh!tty behavioural patterns may get noticed, but they also may be rewarded with success by equally sh!tty people and end up mindlessly happy with their success. Anyways once you accept all of this, you are more free and less bound by psychological dependence on faux-morality that gets you nowhere. Peace

JFL at believing in any aspect of eastern philosophy and eastern religions.
I accept that people believe in that and there's nothing wrong with it but it's a bunch of hoohah
Yoga legit invites demons into your body
All of it was invented by a bunch of non achievers who did nothing to help lift people up or help them achieve greatness or achieve any greatness on their own.
BRB never contributing to the world around you somehow equals "enlightenment"

Manifestation, affirmations, karma...whatever you wanna call it, you become your thoughts, and your actions have consequences. If anything, the world is a far sh!ttier place with all these *******s running around not believing in the basic, loose definition of a "karmic system" to keep them in check.

The past few months have been proof that karma exists to me
I did some sh*tty things last year to good people. And my life has basically been fukked hard in return
I probably got what I deserved srs. Because the things I did on some level had an influence over the outcome of the present
If I didn't do those subjectively bad things, then these current bad things wouldn't have occurred

It needs overall balance and the systems within your body regulate itself to achieve that balance else you will die.
When you do things to throw off that balance in your body, over time it catches up and leads to problems.
To that affect I do believe in the fact that you get what you put out. If you go around putting out bad energy, bad vibes, bad intentions in the world, you will ultimately over time surround yourself with the same energy and vice versa. Maybe its cope.......we only see a tiny fraction of what is actually going on in the grand scheme of things. But if its cope, ok im cool with it.....whats the alternative? Just go around not giving a fack?

OP it's your karma to not believe in karma, further perpetuating the cycle(s) of B.S. in your own life.
