Gf and I enjoy having Starbucks now and then. After dinner at home or somewhere, we just go there to chill and have dessert especially since there is a nearby Starbucks.

I like coffee dates, but in my experience girls don’t seem to. I think it can work if you find a hole in the wall place that not many people know about

Somewhere like Starbucks and major chains have a sterile vibe and don’t suit dating very well

I found a fantastic coffee shop in Summerlin in Las Vegas and I’m glad actually that not a lot of people seem to know about it

Maybe I’m weird, but I like coffee dates. Well, while I was single. It’s no pressure, if we didn’t vibe, it’s no biggy. Its better than sitting thru a bad dinner date. Bars I always felt uncomfortable with, like if I didn’t drink I’m weird then if I do will they think they can get me drunk. And after I stopped drinking all together, watching someone else drink it was meh

Other first dates I think are good is something that’s an activity. Puzzle rooms, hikes, bowling, frisbee golf/mini golf, cooking classes, trivia night at a bar, I’d even rather do a workout class /gym date than a bar/dinner/movie

I've seen teenagers to CEO's with beautiful dates in there.

Yeah activites.

There's something called the Bridge Experiment

There were two bridges with a person taking a survey at the end of each bridge. The bridge that was dangerous. It swayed back and forth. The person got the most amount of phone numbers while the bridge that was stable only got a few.

So now it's known that if there's physical excitement causes sexual arousal. lol

Would feel weird meeting for coffee though.

Ask her if she would like to preterp and then go play some mini golf.

I'll leave it to you to decide if this wouldn't be the most fun time in her recent life or if I am not being serious.

I've been out with a girl sporadically (about 4 times) over a period of months. She has been at home supposedly and is worried about the covid. She doesn't want to come round for dinner but she wants to go for morning walks. Should I bother with this?

My dating went like this over the years:
- Lunch dates/ dinner dates
- Coffee dates at coffee shop
- Drive through coffee dates
- Drinks at my house then sex
- Booty calls with smalltalk ( either hers or mine)
- Booty calls at only mine.
- Booty calls where I didn't have to get changed out of my chitty clothes
- Booty calls where I barely had to leave my couch.
- Can't even be bothered with the mess it creates so just stay in and misc.
- Low test and old age gave up entirely gone monk.

No, only dates at Chili's gets it in.

But I do like going to mom and pop coffee bars or dessert like places. Small and inexpensive yet a good social area to get to talk and screen someone lol. Mini golf or Dave and Busters places are surprisingly effective too.

Lol kind of bland man. Looks like some generic Chilis or country breakfast place. I'll fix it for you.

I prefer coffee dates for a first meet because it's low key and no pressure. For a first date with someone I've already met in person and know I'm attracted to them I'm fine with a regular date. Lots of other stuff you can do if the weather is decent. Walk in a park and other outside stuff. It's cold here now so the last time I met someone we met at a Starbucks for an hour or so of conversation on a Sunday morning and then we went out to dinner the following Saturday night.

Vibe check coffee or a bar just depending on if you think she’s a prude

Escalating beyond the bar is simple assuming you have a good time

Just have a good time and the rest doesn't matter

But doing some active (like walks, hikes, w/e) can many times be more enjoyable than just sitting there especially with a lame coffee
