That's if I'm eating for taste though. Just LOL @ eating ribeye for nutrients, it's prob >50% fat. For nutrients and taste, flank steak is king.
filet is not the best in theory. every chef will tell you it's extremely overrated. No flavor.

Ribeye cap is the best. You like ribeye? The cap is a better version of that. You like the filet? Cap is a better version of that.

Lean meats are usually pretty bad IMO. Anything from the round is a pain in the ass. Filets are ok but will take flavor > tender

Agreed with the exception that if you are in the mood for just meat then a filet can't be beat.

Delmonico ribeye cooked medium rare, seared over an infrared burner, finished on the grill with a dab of butter, just Kosher salt/pepper or Montreal on it. Side of asparagus and maybe tater tots.

Hanger is extremely underrated. I had never even heard of it until a couple of years ago I took the wife to a fancy steakhouse and I usually take the waitress recommendations on what to get and she said I had to try the hanger. I've always been more of a ribeye man but the lean cuts have grown on me. I've found I like them rarer than the ribeyes. I eat ribeyes at med rare but all the leaner cuts at rare

bottom round is basically a secret. Cut it across the grain and thinly and you got a perfect, lean everyday steak that has tons of flavor.

First choice will be a bone in rib-eye. And if they have it, hangar.

At home I eat a lot of NY Strips.
