Every engineer I've met is one arrogant SOB. Pair that with a tendency to have poor social skills and I'd say interviews are probably their weakest point, and probably the most awkward situation I could imagine.

I'm sure you'll find somewhere else, somewhere with less arrogant engineers, good luck.

Just tell them next time that you have a pulse, you aren't on drugs, and you will show up on time.

Chit suks brah. Don't sweat it.

Some of my best interviews I didn't get hired. Probably my worst interview where I legit flopped some very basic questions related to the position I ended up getting hired.

This makes so much sense why the misc is the way it is

Seems like everybody on the misc is in engineering or accounting chit

Awfukbye.
Hope you told them off a bit. My career field is large and I can get away with telling a few companies to fuk off without issues.

It’s wonderful once you get to the stage where you can just say “no” due to things like that. Culture is a big one for me. If you think I’m getting worked to death for your company at this stage you’re crazy. I run at the first sight of toxic culture. When you’re younger though you feel pressure to take anything you can.

Lol I actually didn't include my grades, I'm aware they're nothing to write home about. They specifically asked that I dig them out.

As I understand it this is fairly common practice in the Tech and engineering fields.

LOL I've thought about that before too. Miscers aren't always wrong but they phrase things in a way that makes it really hard for normies to agree with them

Eastern Euro, could be OK guys idk. One of them was a manlet and looked like he lifted(don't neg me if you read this brah), guy number 2 was also a manlet, but a nerdy one, third dude was pudgy and came off a bit snide. All of them seemed to be very competent engineers, but their social skills were non-existent. They should probably hire some HR sloot or some chit.

I myself was nervous, agreeable as fukk and overly polite, so I probably gave away some beta vibes. Gotta get my chit together, but it's a scary thought to not have a job. Feelsbetaman.

why would they invite you in the first place.. maybe file a complaint with the local business tribunal. I doubt it will do anything but at least it'll give them a bit of a headache.

LMAO been there brother.

Had a professor get me a job interview post college at a biotech company that sold a personally health devise. It was straight up voodoo and bro science, a hand held wand that pumps good vibes across your body essentially. Researched the company and product for days. Couldnt find a single shred of evidence it even worked. Thought about blowing it off as i would feel slimy about selling that to people. It being an over the phone sales job, i figured lets try it and if im good i can make some cash. Did an hour interview with some HR lady, all is good, then the manager comes in, guys like 30 and had ******* energy. Looks at my resume, looks at me, looks at my resume and says "Why would i hire a marine geology major to sell my product, thats not even close to this field". Said it in an insulting way too. I gave him the whole scientific method has broad applications and sales is about personality just give me a chance i know this product inside and out (lmao). No call back and they hired some friend of mine from the same school with a liberal arts degree...he quit out of moral objection a month later!
