^^^In case yall don't watch; inflation is taxation without representation. This is how Biden is funding his communist policies. "Inflation is made in one place; Washington, by printing money.

So in a healthy economy, 3-5%.

Interest rates were never meant to be used as a tool for the wealthy to leverage to the fuarking gills to get rich.

They were meant to be used in the event of an economic downturn to push the economy out of the rut.

Unfortunately, like most things, the wealthy found out how to turn it into their own money printing machine, literally.

False. That's exactly what it means. Too much money in circulation. Watch the video I posted and listen to Professor Friedman prove this both historically and in present day. It doesn't matter what the currency, be it growing more tobacco, mining more gold, collecting more seashells...this is what lead to Gresham's law. Inflation is the product of too much money.

Present day politicians don't want you to know that though, because it represent ideals that are unconstitutional.

The very existence of the mcdouble was already a decline in value, as they took away a piece of cheese from the proper double cheeseburger that used to be a $1.

So the US prime rate has been around that range since the tech crash. It went higher before the 08 crash too.

It's 2021, reality is whatever you want it to be if you're convincing enough.

Remember that people will always take advantage. The market reacts to government interference and they will do so in their own best interest. This is why the market is generally left best alone. This is what most people don’t understand, it’s not that they’re greedy, it’s that individuals will always act in their own best interest and if that means exploiting the government’s overreach, they will do it.

This is why I am of the belief that government interference corrupts. Just like the Poor in low income exploit the welfare state, the rich exploit inflation. This is a fact of human nature that people tend to ignore and they don’t see the cause-and-effect
