Is Inflation all bs? srs

Srs,

problem 1:
semi conductor shortage - graphics cards are overpriced on newegg and most retail sites to buy new, just buy on ebay used for slight increase in price since last year

has to do with semi conductor factories not producing enough chips and a major fire burned down a semi conductor factory in japan, the issue literally has nothing to do with printing more money

solution: build more semi conductor factories, get people back to work in factories simple no?

Problem 2:
rental car shortage- caused by people going on vacation more due to being stuck at home for a whole year,

solution: will be solved once more semi conductor factories are built

problem 3:

"chicken price inflation", i literally went to costco and bought a full chicken for 5 dollars, same price it has always been, also got wings at wingstop, no price change, shortage has to to with less workers working due to covid,

solution: workers get vaccinated or herd immunity then cut unemployment so people get back to work at factories

problem 4:
"toiler paper inflation": checked walmart, absolutely no price change in toilet paper

problem 5:
housing prices going up and shortage:

caused by feds giving families thousands of dollars in uneployment and ppp loans and lowering mortgage interest rates to 2.99%, causing a surge in people buying houses (artifical demand created,

solution: easily solved by cutting unemployment

problem 6:
increase in prices of commodities ie : lumber,
solution:solved once housing market normalizes

all this is fear mongering by the elite trying to drive down stock prices so they can buy in and profit once all these artificial problems are solved

Its real but the fed then carries out operations to make money more expensive to borrow such as raising interest rates and other operations

This is inflation caused by supply shortages.

The inflation you're seeing now is because money is worth less, because what's called the real value of money is lowered.

Second is harder to fix.

Strong this.

Not one of OP's reasonings or solutions are correct.

House is expensive because of the Fed giving stimulus checks? The Fed doesn't give stimulus checks brah, that's the Treasury department. They influence, but do not set rates for the mortgage industry.

The government is the cause of the housing bubble, and it has very little to do with unemployment benefits.

If you want to solve that one, eliminate tariffs on construction materials put in place by corrupt politicians, reduce the amount of fees/red tape to build new homes, encourage more people to be tradies instead of worthless English majors, do not allow non-citizens buy homes/property in the US, and stop letting the Fed loan money out to investment companies at 0%. Problem would be solved in a year's time.

Feds need to keep interest rates permanently low to keep the asset values high for the rich ownership class and suppress the value prop of labor and earned income.

Winrar.

Fed has been the protector of the rich and destroyer of the common man for quite some time.

treasury department definition:
The Department of the Treasury is the national treasury of the federal government of the United States where it serves as an executive department.

so they work for the feds...your arguing semantics, lower mortgage interest rates are making people flood the housing markets because they think its a good time to buy a house, also shortage is caused by increase of lumber shortage

why insult my literacy then say english majors are useless??

Inflation doesnt mean "rise in price caused by printing of money". It means "loss of value of money", regardless of the cause. That means the 10k you had in your bank since last year is worth less now. Its still 10k but you cant buy the same you could buy last year.
"The flowers bloom, then wither... The stars shine and one day become extinct. This earth, the sun, the galaxies and even the big universe, someday will be destroyed. Compared with that, the human life is only a blink, just a little time. In that short time - people are born, laugh, cry, fight, are injured, feel joy, sadness, hate someone, love someone. All in just a moment. And then, are embraced by the eternal sleep called death."

ok, so if value of money is not lowered by printing money and giving it freely for no labour (ie unemployment), then what lowers the value of money? money should technically be increasing in value daily as more people are born, hence demand for money should constantly be increasing as more people with use it as currency

Artificially low interest rates only appear beneficial to the less wealthy at a cursory glance. The single most damaging aspect is the cost of housing, which greatly exceeds the illusory benefit of less interest expense on a (much higher) mortgage

Things like lower ownership % of public companies are all significant as well

"Just build fabs, bro."

Each modern fab producing the 3080 you want costs $20 billion and takes 3 years to build at warp speed.

And just lol at the Costco chicken. They deliberately lose money on that as a loss leader. BRB hot dogs are still $1.50 like the 80s, inflation hasn't happened for 40 years bro.

first off, the equeerium miners and scalpers are the major problem with vidya cards right now

secondly, the downstream effects of inflation are delayed since merchants attempt to delay price increases that they pass on. once they do, however, the increases are permanent. costco is going to resist price increases as long as possible because operating on razor thin margins is their whole focus

inflation increases increase by different percentages and rates depending on the sector

I think this is a good explanation of what is currently going on. There's been a supply shock. It is difficult to deal with due to how complex and long supply chains are.

Milton has been warning people of inflation for many years. No one seems to listen; Inflation is a money problem. There is too much of it with inflation

Just about everyone I know is complaining about the higher food and gas prices over the last few months. I suspect under Biden inflation will become worse.
