I love shoulder pressing 110's for reps.

I usually go for 30-40 reps, then my warmup is officially over and I can start throwing around some real weight.

Shouldn't be long now.
Pretty much this, before lockdowns was hitting 42kg (92lbs) pretty comfortably for 10. Gotta build all that back now just did 26kg (57lb) for 10 pretty comfy but we'll see how long it takes

Yep. Love BNP. I don't agree that some "experts" think they are dangerous. I used to be able to work up to 195x6 and 205x3-4. Always regretted not being able to reach 225. 2 45s on each side are epic.

People who think BTN press is dangerous just have horrible shoulder mobility and/or imbalances from lifting like trash for too long.

BNP are a no go for me, not because they're painful but because I have no mobility and constantly hit the back of my head.

Can do 110lb DB presses for a set of 6-8, does that count?

i suck at pressing OP but i’m working my way back up

last sesh i did 35s for 15 but i ain’t rly in a hurry to go heavy or rly even care much anymore…. doing more volume and higher reps so far seems to be doing me a lil better, so i’m just slowly trying to creep up in weight as i can

Just did 80s last week, not really pushing the weights the older I get , just trying to get good pumps/burns

Seems like everyone has ox like shoulder strength in this thread. I can barely get a few reps with 80s.

The real question is how much does OP lateral raise?
So just program them properly and get stronger at them. I was pressing the 75s once too.

Lateral? I don't know, I barely do them and only ever at the end of workouts. It's whatever I can do for 15 strict reps at that time.

Shoulders are literally bulletproof lol.

I'm strict with technique and always warm up properly/use full range of motion.

People just gotta learn how to not fuking suck at lifting weights and keep their bodies healthy lmao.

65s are a good hammer curl set, though.
