Yeah that makes sense, and a kid wouldn’t have a clue about nutrition anyway.

My theory (and it’s a simplistic one) is that if parents just didn’t have cookies, chips, pop, capri suns, etc., at home, then it would make it very hard to have obese children. What else are the kids going to do, get fat eating baby carrots?

Delusional. You're rambling about completely random nonsense in some weird attempt to personally insult me about something I'm not talking about. Brb there are no other societal issues that exist beyond war and famine, those are the only two bad things rofl. Enjoy the neg boyo. Also, the thread title is 'biggest problem'. Guess what, if we aren't experiencing famine or a war, you cross those off the lists of 'the biggest problem' and go down. Yes, our biggest problem in society nowadays is not that we are all starving to death or being genocided, thanks for the brilliant insight.

I would tend to agree. I mean, if our biggest problem is that we have too much food to eat that’s really small potatoes (pun intended). Things like climate change, shortages of potable water, and demographic shifts from poor countries to wealthy areas are the real threats to society. Those will kill people regardless of their health situation.

Clearly I am talking about America. Potable water shortages and demographic shifts from third world countries are not issues for us. Obviously there are bigger problems on a global scale, such as half the world surviving off less than $5 in general.

Also, nutrition and physical education is declining rapidly in schools. I wonder what kids are doing today compared to:

It gets real sad when you realize the FDA and govt are in bed together working with "food" producers. Our own tax dollars are used via govt subsidies to make corn syrup and milk. Food producers literally take your tax dollars and feed them back to you and give you chronic health problems, which then helps healthcare sector grow. It's a big capitalism circle jerk. I'm not anti-capitalism, but in this case the govt which is the problem and then we get chrony capitalism.

I can’t even imagine just how much of a gluttonous pig you have to be to actually become obese nowadays. For fuks sake I eat like **** most of the time and drink a couple beers every night and I’m 180 pounds at 6’1”. Sure I don’t have abs or anything but I get called skinny all the time. No, I’m just not a fat slob.

Yeah. There's no money to be made in a healthy fit society.
"The flowers bloom, then wither... The stars shine and one day become extinct. This earth, the sun, the galaxies and even the big universe, someday will be destroyed. Compared with that, the human life is only a blink, just a little time. In that short time - people are born, laugh, cry, fight, are injured, feel joy, sadness, hate someone, love someone. All in just a moment. And then, are embraced by the eternal sleep called death."

Everything is inverse. I don't believe in "Satan" or "God" but culture right now is what I'd imagine it would look like if "Satan" existed and took control. Normalizing everything heinous and anti-human while demonizing anything that isn't degenerate.
