Used to live on a lake in South Carolina as a kid, remember one of these big fuarkin water moccasins came at me when I was fishing with my dad and he decapitated it with an oar. Fuarking snakes mane.

Fuk those things man one time by sea doo broke down in the middle of the lake and there were two small ones swimming near by

I had to stand up on top of the seat so they didn't attack me

From a Georgia boy to a Florida boy - Not a cotton mouth. I've been around these two snakes my entire life and have dealt with hundreds if not thousands of these snakes growing up on the frontside of a swamp.

Head is rounded (water snake) instead of a triangle head (cotton mouth/pit viper)...The two snakes markings and body shape are almost identical with the exception of the head..Cotton mouths have an extreme triangle shaped head
